Kahlen

Jade
She nodded to Kahlen. Tod dipped down toward the ground immediately, but keeping the downward curve not too steep.

Lilly
She glanced up again, looking around, thinking. Denver was still standing where Wendy had pulled him to. She was curious what Wendy had said to him, but wasn't going to ask. Sometimes ignorance was bliss. "Denver," she called, "I have a question."

Kahlen

Jade
Tod landed just before Kadi and turned to her with a prideful glance. "Ha, I beat you." Jade, however, was looking around. Palm trees waved in the breeze, it was sunny - until it wasn't. The sky darkened with clouds and she glanced up to see a lightning bolt flash across the sky, rolling thunder following it. Tod shifted uneasily.

Lilly
Lilly looked at her sketchbook a moment, then at the cots around her, and finally looked at Denver again. "So, I was thinking, maybe I could draw something for all the injured. I'm not sure how many there are, and what kinds of things I should do." She looked back at the Ticonderoga in her hand and went to put it behind her ear, but there was already a pencil there. Laughing under her breath at herself, she took the tiny, dull pencil out and put it down before slipping her good one behind her ear.

Jimmy

Kahlen
Kahlen glared at the sky. Next time, Kahlen Winter, said a booming voice in her mind. "Zeus." Kahlen cursed under her breath in Ancient Greek.

Denver

Jade
"Zeus? Why would he want to hurt us? Aren't we helping him?" She watched as the clouds dissipated, now that they weren't in the sky.

Lilly
"Thanks." She was studying his green eyes, intrigued with how the light caught them and was reflected, the different hues, and how interesting they would be to try and draw - Lilly blushed and looked down at her sketchbook. "Well, uh, would you know how many people got injured? And if you have any ideas for what kinds of things might cheer them up..."

Her brow furrowed. "What?" Why would Zeus - the king of the gods - hate Kahlen?

Eudora rolled her eyes at Kahlen. Wait- what am I doing? "I'm going to drive myself insane..." she muttered under her breath.

"Oh. But, um, still... Why would he try to blast us out of the sky?" She looked up at the clouds. "We're trying to help him."

Lilly
She watched him walk away and let out a small breath. The pounding pain all through her was slowly returning, and she wasn't appreciating it.

Eudora
"Probably because he's stupid and dumb and- Oh Eudora would you please shut up?!" Eudora said as if she didn't know what she was saying.

Auberon
Auberon stopped and tilted his head. "I'll get it later," he said more like he was trying to convince himself.

Outlaw
She shook her head and gave a whistle. A hawk glided from the trees and snatched up the bottle, dropping it where it was supposed go.
