Jade
She glanced at Kahlen. Something must be on her mind. All Jade knew was that it seemed like she hadn't noticed Jade's slip-up, and she was the most likely to notice. She let out a small breath that she didn't know she had been holding and rubbed Tod's ear.

Lilly
She slipped the pencil out and completely erased one of the human shapes. She had completely messed up that pose. She tried drawing it again, but ended up erasing that, too. After several attempts, she sighed and scrawled a single word to remind her what pose to practice later. Lilly put the pencil behind her ear again. She turned her gaze to another pose and carefully scanned it. That one seemed okay. Most of them did, but a few weren't the best.

Kahlen
Kahlen felt someone studying her, but chose to ignore it. Too much emotion would show in her expression, she knew, if she did anything but stare ahead. There were things she wanted to hide right now- important things.

Jade
Tod looked at her out of the corner of his eye and his ears flicked forward. "We're approaching Florida." "Tod says we're approaching Florida," she told everyone.

Lilly
Finally, she folded the paper and tucked it back into her pocket. She forgot about the pencil as a cheer rose, several times, from the amphitheater. Lilly glanced around. The medics were still busy in the aftermath of the battle. She spotted several people she knew, some helping the wounded, others laying on the cots. Movement by the entrance caught her eye, and she saw Wendy's red hair as she entered the infirmary tent. Lilly waved, and when Wendy spotted her she hurried over. "I brought your sketchbook and some of your art supplies. I heard you were here, and knew you would probably want them." Lilly smiled. "Thanks, Wendy, you're right." She accepted the sketchbook from Wendy's arms and the basket of art supplies. Wendy spotted Denver and grinned at Lilly, her eyes lighting up. Being an Aphrodite girl, she was always interested in Lilly's love life. "So, what's your name?" she said to Denver, settling beside Lilly on the cot. Lilly opened the sketchbook to a blank page and looked through the basket for a nice pencil. She pulled out a Ticonderoga and began lightly sketching.

"Nice to meet you, Denver. I'm Wendy, Lilly's friend." Lilly, at this point, was just sketching away, glad to have the smooth grain of her sketchbook's paper and the sharp point of her nice pencil. After getting the rough sketch in, Lilly dug in the basket again and pulled out her fineliner pen. Wendy glanced at the sketch curiously, then stood. "Could I talk to you for a second...?" Wendy asked Denver. Lilly looked up and narrowed her eyes suspiciously. Last time Wendy had done this, some guy had tried to ask her out when Lilly just wanted to be his friend. She went back to her drawing with a small shake of her head.

Katie perked up immediately. "Eudora's back?" She echoed, "glancing" around.

He heard the shout and waved back at Jimmy, smiling. "Get me some of those later," he mouthed.

She laughed. "It's always great when they don't even know they like someone," she said to herself. "Don't try to deny it, Denver. I can tell. But don't worry," Wendy continued, "I won't say anything to her. And pro tip: if she's being shy, that doesn't mean you've messed up. It means you're doing good." She turned toward Lilly. "See ya later, Lilly," she said, loud enough for her to hear. "Got a meeting to attend!" Wendy turned back to Denver. "Good luck," she said, shooting him a wink before hurrying out of the tent.

Denver felt like hiding in the closet. He debated whether to actually do it, but someone came along. "You okay, Denver? Your face is really red." "Fine," Denver mumbled as they left.

Lilly
She set down her markers back in the basket Wendy had brought her and held the picture up. Man, she loved her Copics. They blended so well. She surveyed the woods scene she had just finished with a degree of approval. It was actually pretty good. She glanced around the tent again and flipped to a new page. Maybe she'd be able to make art for every person who had been wounded. If they wanted it. She wasn't sure if they would, but she needed the practice anyway. She studied the blank page for a moment, thinking about what to draw.
