Auberon knew that rest was probably a better idea, but part of him didn't want to go rest. He looked at Denver for a while with a look that said you'll have to convince me more than that....

She continued to move kids that where in good enough shape to be moved off the field and to the tent. It was something to do.

Lilly
She was only looking at the already done kit to check what she was doing at this point. She wrote on a label and put it into place, taking all the small tubes that belonged under that label and putting them there. She glanced at the organized kit to check. Wait... She rummaged in the one Denver had shown her for reference, pulling out the small tubes. She looked all through the kit, finally pulling out the culprit. It was in the wrong place. She wondered if all the kits that were organized had that tube in the wrong section.

Kahlen
"I wonder..." Kahlen said, considering.

Jade
She looped around to James and Katie. "How are you two holding up?" she asked, scanning the scenery around her. Jade gave Tod a pat, still thankful he had caught her. She needed a distraction so she didn't slip into the memories again.

She glanced around the tent, curious if all the kits had been messed up. Seeing a demigod, sitting upright in bed and cradling a broken arm - but otherwise fine - she called to them. Eager to do something, he walked over. "Could you look in that kit and tell me what all is under Burn Creams?" He nodded, walked over, and returned. Lilly nodded. "Okay, thanks." It was messed up, too. She closed the example kit and picked up a new, unorganized one. She continued labeling, but she put the one tube of cream under the correct label.

She glanced at Katie and back to James. His eyes were clouded with emotions. She prodded Tod closer to Jack so she could talk to him a bit more.. privately. "Hey," she said, "you're not fine. If you don't want to talk about it, that's okay, but if you do I'm open."

"No, you're pretty good at looking calm. I've just learned how to read people's eyes over the years."

"Uh-huh." She paused. "We don't get used to feeling torn, or hurt, or any of that. We just learn how to deal with it, or it haunts us forever. "Like I said, you don't have to tell me what's up, but James, if you're not fine, it's not okay. It might seem to be normal, but it's just constant. Constant and normal are different. I mi - you might have been feeling this for so long you've forgotten what it's like to feel normal. To actually be okay, to be fine." She looked over at him.
