Katie acknowledged Jade with a nod, but remained quiet. Katie's STILL blind. James had said, and she felt like a burden. She did know whether to cry or to just push herself off of Adonis' back and get over with it.

"I'm good." Katie confirmed with a smile, fingers tracing absently over the hard muscle in Adonis' neck.

Jade
Jade nodded in acknowledgement to Kahlen. "It can take time," she said in response to James. She looked down once more, scanning the scenery. She'd never been out of New York.

Lilly
She had just finished the last of the unorganized kits. Now, Lilly sat, watching the chaotic yet organized busyness of the infirmary. She took a second nibble of the ambrosia and thumbed through one of the kits to make sure she had done it right. Satisfied, she set it back on the neat stack by the cot she was sitting on.

Denver

"Thanks." She turned and opened his example kit. "Hey, uh, there's a mistake in here. You have this cream under the Burn Cream label," she pulled the tube out, "but it's actually a bug bite/sting and poison ivy cream. I had someone check, and the other kits have the same mix-up in them."

She laughed softly, which hurt a little, but oh well. She nibbled on the ambrosia again. "I can help you if you want. I didn't mind doing those." She gestured to the completed kits. It would beat sitting around all day 'healing,' anyways.

Auberon
Auberon walked back into the infirmary to return the supplies Denver had giving him. He sat down on the ground and sorted through it first so that Denver wouldn't have had to do that... He kind of made a mess out of it.

Lilly
Lilly took another tiny bite and then looked at the ambrosia square. Her tiny bites probably weren't really doing much. She took another bite, making a conscious effort to make it bigger than her previous ones. She glanced up at Denver only to see green eyes staring. She looked away, for some reason uncomfortable, and for once not sure what to say. Come on, Lilly, you're the daughter of IRIS. Say something!!! It was him who broke the silence with a stuttered word. She looked back up and smiled. "How much good is nibbling on this thing going to do me?" Lilly asked.

Denver
"Oh um... well, nibbling on it won't do much. You kinda have to eat the whole thing to get results..." Denver trailed off awkwardly. He could hear his sister in his mind: Good one, Dennis. Absolutely A plus effort.

Auberon
Auberon finished doing the best he could and went to get up. Looking across the room towards Denver, he noticed Denver was talking to some girl. Auberon sat back down in cross cross and propped his chin on his hand. Oh I have got to see this...

Lilly
"I was suspicious that would be the case," she said with her typical soft laugh. She ate the rest of the square and followed it up with a swig of water. She normally didn't eat so quickly - she had always been one to nibble.
