Auberon froze as he heard a faint growl. Then he realized he was staring into the eyes of a dog monster thing. "Outlaw duck!" he yelled as the dog charged. He moved out of the way just in time.

Noah
He scanned the army below him and signaled. The herd of pegasi and their riders swooped lower into the sky, beating their wings above the enemy. Another signal. Noah slung the bow from his back and nocked an arrow, letting it fly into the middle of the army below. Twenty other arrows followed his and hit several targets. Those hit screamed and those around them cried out in confusion before looking into the air and pointing. But the pegasi had lifted their riders higher, out of range of the missiles the enemy no doubt had on hand. After the arrows had plunged into the center of the army, the ground troops slammed into the front ranks and the sound of swords on swords filled the air as the pegasi grouped together in the sky. Noah shouted instructions for who to target next. They were going to all aim at the cyclops marching toward the camp, spear in hand, searching the sky for his quarry - the pegasi and their riders. "We need to be careful," Noah continued, "as he is looking for us. We need to surround him and throw him off guard. You five, take the back. You guys, the left side. And you, the right side. You four will come with me and charge the front." The demigods nodded.

She swiftly reached the creatures mind, and it screeched to a stop in front of her.

Auberon sighed relievingly. That's handy... he thought, just before he felt a slash across his back. He turned around clenching teeth to see another dog in front of him. He took out his dagger and backed up slowly.

She swiftly reached for the second dogs mind.

Auberon groaned in pain and stepped back from the dog. "Let's hope there's now more," he mumbled looking around. He reached his hand as far as he could down his back and it started healing.

Noah
He dispatched the first group of five, who quickly and quietly looped behind the monsters and hovered right at the cyclops' back. When they were halfway there, the next two groups went, but stayed their distance from the monster, out of sight. Noah looked round at his four warriors, all brave demigods, and he nodded. Together, the five flew straight at the beast's monstrous face, a war cry torn from their lips and bows nocked and ready. The cyclops bellowed and raised his spear arm. The monster froze and bellowed once more, but with pain, as he whipped around to face the five demigods who had each embedded an arrow into his back. As his arm raised, the two groups at a distance dashed forward and each person shot an arrow. The cyclops' spear tip flicked through the air, and a demigod who had been at his back went flying from his mount, screaming, before hitting the ground with a dull thump, lifeless. Noah set his jaw and ordered his group to fire. As they did, he held back, and when the monster had wheeled toward them Noah released his. It flew straight and true, hitting the monster in the center of its hideous eye. It bellowed and began attacking blindly at the air. Each group shot arrows at him, enraging and damaging him more. Noah would have grinned at the havoc the monster was causing among his own ranks - stomping and smashing monsters - but the death of the one demigod weighed heavily on his mind. As each of the nineteen demigods sent another arrow, he whistled and they soared away. The nineteen arrows plunged into the gargantuan head, and the cyclops fell, crushing a few more monsters.

Katie swallowed thickly, tugging on James' sleeve. "What if I don't recover?" She whispered to him, anyone's nightmare looming ever closer. "I can't live blind, James, that's just ASKING for trouble." Her brain's screaming of

She turned to say hi as Eudora walked into camp, but seeing the murderous expression on her face decided not to. At her accusation, Jade stepped in. "Kahlen's been right every time she's felt them," she said in a neutral tone.

Eudora shot a glare at Jade. "Well she has a terrible way of catching onto things..." she mumbled.
