Greek Mythology Roleplay

Jade
She tilted her head. "Ambrosia?" She'd never heard of the stuff. Was it a medication? "Oh, right. The orientation video mentioned it." Her eyes flicked down to her hands, and she realized one was still in Alex's. Oh. The kid pulled a small square from his pocket and offered it to Alex. It didn't look like much, and she wondered if it could really do what the video claimed it did. 

James
 He nodded.
 "I won't tell anyone, I promise. If it makes you feel better, I've stolen some things, too. Mostly food," he told her quietly. "All I can... mess with is locks, nothing else. I just have to hold them and concentrate and they just... open. It first happened when I was trying to get in a locked building to hide. I started pulling on the lock and it clicked open."

Alex
Alex took it with his free hand and a thankful nod, putting the little square in his mouth and swallowing a satisfied hum. "That tastes really good." He said, once he was finished eating. "As it should." The kid grinned, popping his knee back into place while he was distracted.

Jade
She winced as the kid popped Alex's knee into place. "I did not need to see that," she muttered. She looked up at Alex. "What's it taste like?" she asked curiously. "And do you think you can walk? It'd be nice to go outside sometime soon." 

Kahlen
Kahlen stepped outside for a moment. She was starting to get a headache. She leaned against the wall for a moment, taking a deep breath. Nothing to worry about, she told herself. But a tiny voice in her head had other opinions. There's EVERYTHING to worry about. It started listing off half a dozen problems. Shut up, she told it forcefully. It was quiet.

Alex
"Not sure." Alex replied, having the feeling that he knew exactly what it tasted like. "And yeah, my knee feels a lot better.... wanna go finish our tour?"

Kahlen 
Kahlen walked back in and saw that someone had fixed Alex's knee problem. Denver appeared next to her. "You okay?" he asked quietly. She nodded, which only made her headache worse. "Yeah. I'm good." 

Jade
"Oh yeah." She stood, pulling him up with her. She wasn't sure if she should unweave her hand or keep it where it was. She decided on the latter and walked out of the infirmary, watching Alex to make sure he didn't fall. Then again, he'd fallen less than she had, and he had dislocated his knee. She grinned at the thought, even though the one time she had fallen had been pretty terrifying. She looked back to Kahlen and Denver. "Hey, you guys wanna come on the rest of the tour with us?"

Kahlen
She ran a hand through her hair and sighed. "Something is off. I just have... a feeling about it. And I'm not usually wrong." Kahlen wished, for once that she'd be wrong about this. Very wrong. 

Alex felt a familiar tug in his gut and almost yelled in anger. "Really? Right now?" He groaned mentally, feeling the presence frown. "Yes, now." The presence snapped, and Alex internally growled in response. "Hey, I'm just gonna go find the bathroom, alright? I'll catch up with you in a bit."

Jade
"Okay," she said with a shrug. She released his hand and grinned at him. "Don't get lost." She watched him walk away and was startled by a voice right next to her. "Hi." She turned quickly. "Oh. Hi." It was a satyr. His legs were those of a goat, his eyes big and brown, his curly hair barely covering a set of horns. He wore an orange Camp Half-Blood T-shirt. "My name's Bobby. I'm supposed to take you on the tour." Jade nodded. "Okay." She peeked her head in the infirmary. "Uh, Denver? Kahlen? Our tour bus is leaving. You guys coming?"

Kahlen 
Kahlen closed her eyes for a moment. This headache was NOT helping things. She frowned. Yes, something was definitely wrong. Kahlen got the feeling they were being watched, but she knew if she turned around to look behind her, the feeling would be gone. "Where is it?..." She murmured as Alex left.

Denver 
Okay, his sister was kind of freaking him out. He made a mental note to talk to her later. "Kahlen, you there?"
Kahlen 
Kahlen snapped back to the present. "Hmm? Oh. Yes. Coming." She followed the satyr distractedly.

Ethel
 Ethel stepped off of the porch, walking alone across the patchy grass as she approached the others. She gave Jade a quick wave before slowing to a halt, eyeing the stranger who was standing there as well. From what she remembered from the video, he was a satyr. He was pretty cute, she had to admit, and he looked kind of shy.

James
 "I'm gonna go find the others," he told Katie, hurrying down the porch steps and jogging towards the infirmary. Skidding to a stop (and nearly tripping over his own feet), he smiled at Jade and a satyr who he'd never seen before.
 "You're a satyr, right?" James asked him, extending a hand. "I'm James."

Jade
Jade saw Kahlen's lips move but didn't hear what she said. She looked back at the satyr and shrugged. "We should probably wait a little bit." Bobby nodded and leaned on the wall, fiddling with what looked like a handmade flute. "You did not heed my advice," The Voice whispered in her head. Jade felt a shiver run down her spine at the sound of it. The world started to dim. She resisted, digging her nails into the palms of her hands. It seemed to work, for the black receded. "You refuse my visions?" The Voice made a sound of disgust. "Fine, then. I will give you something else instead. A fear of the dark." Jade took a deep breath, forcing herself not to shake. "Get out of my head," she growled under her breath. She glanced up and saw two other people. Oh great, they probably saw all that. I'm not going crazy, guys, I promise. 
Bobby smiled at James. "Yeah, I'm a satyr," he replied. He shook his hand. "I'm Bobby." He glanced at Ethel and Jade could have sworn he blushed. "Hi. I'm supposed to give you guys a tour."
