Thoroughbred Breeders

YAY! TBs are pretty awesome. Personally I breed for Black coloring and stats, but I'm working on that Confo stuff too, eventually maybe. Just mostly I want Black ponies. If anyone happens to have Black or Smokey Black ones, I'm always happy to have them, especially foundations to get that new blood in. I was really sad when I got a Smokey Cream from one of my last breedings actually, I mean he's beautiful but just not black! Luckily their second foal was black and also had slightly better conformation, yay!

i don't mind greys at all. 

i have a small herd of mostly foundations that i plan on eventually training in racing and/or dressage. i like watching the progression of greying, and don't mind grey at all. i did buy some some freeze greys because i am fond of some of the mid-stage looks and enjoy being able to individualize the horses as much as possible. 

Sabriel; that is super interesting that you breed just for a specific bold color! Really cool :) And I think he is gorgeous! As I love Cream colors! Any Crcr or CrCr on any breed is beautiful. 

Kahzie; I also like the progression of graying and at some stages they're very beautiful! I have a few freeze grays I might even use on a few. But over all I just don't like the end stage gray, which is what keeps me from wanting them in my herd. 

I don't mind gray horses, in fact in real life some of my favorite horses are gray! I used to own a gray/roan thoroughbred mare. In the game as they are not desirable I am just trying to keep them out of my lines. I have a couple of gray Arabians on my rescue account and some of the stages of it are soo pretty! 

I am breeding my tbs for color, stats, confo.  I also like to have just black ones as well, I know it wouldn't be considered anything special but my mom has 2 black tb stallions IRL so I have a weakness for them. My favorite though has got to be Rage of Angels

Olympea; Gorgeous! And yeah, since I grew up with racing TBs of all Colors, I'm debating naming them all after RL Race horses of the same color. Either of ones I grew up with or owned, or perhaps famous racehorses.

That is really cool Saber, my moms horses are by the Stallion Turkowar. I think the 4 year old is going to train for dressage..not sure about the baby (2) because he had a rough upbringing since his mama died when he was 4 days old and he fractured something in one of his legs when he was about 6 weeks old. Very nice to look at though! 

I loved horse racing when I was younger, when Real Quiet won the derby and Preakness is when I really started gaining interest in it! That is so cool that you grew up around it :) 

I actually had to look up who Real Quiet (Won 1998 as I just found out!) was, as I was 3 when he won! The earliest I can actually remember watching the race of was War Emblem (2002). 
But yeah my parents were super heavy into it when I was younger, we moved around a lot for the horses. Then when I got older it was just my dad and he'd lost interest in it a bit. Around High school he stopped training and went back to college to do a different job. But it was pretty cool, I miss being around horses so much as now we don't have any. :/ 

Yea it is tough being around horses for so long and then just not. My sister just gave.me a nice little gelding this past March (went about 7 years with no horses) so that makes me happy. I hope someday you get to be around them more. You were just 3 then? Oh my gosh do I feel old now lol. I was 12 when he won. 

Anyway I am glad to meet more tb breeders on the game, I have not found many so this will be nice. i just wish there was a good active tb club as well. 

I have all my TBs locked because I don't actually play the game. I keep trying, but I can't really keep up XD

1 plain cremello, 1 white spotting cremello, 1 rabicano cremello, 1 frame cremello

SOME genetic inaccuracies I let slide in my head only because they have a comparable pattern, if not the actual testable gene in real life, but I'm just a genetics junkie lol

Splash = no testable splash IRL, but there are a couple lines with very splash-like markings
Sabino = no sabino in Thoroughbreds, but the family-specific white spotting genes produce a similar phenotype

Olympea, perhaps when I have the ability and time I (or someone else!) can try to make a new TB breeders club and try to get it more active! 

Vos, that makes sense about being slightly bothered by the inaccuracies, but it's cool that you know so much about genetics! I know a little bit as I'm in a science major, but I've always found genetics very confusing. 

I'm also happy to have found more breeders!

Real Quiet was awesome. Of course, I'm biased towards any horse that's 2nd cousin or closer to mine XD

I'm in awe of very few horses. In recent years, my jaw has dropped over Winx.

I do not know much about her racing career but Winx is a beautiful horse! Such athleticism!
