How did you find EV?

I was looking to see if a fame I played well over 10 years ago was active (maybe?), but wanted to play SOMETHING. I Googled and EV came up and I got hooked.

My best friend in real life (CG Designs on here I believe, though she might have finally changed it to the new name she was thinking of doing, she made the mail I currently use in my layout) had been trying to get me to play for years. But it wasn't until The Site That Cannot Be Named changed to focus on younger players that I finally gave it a shot and I'm so glad I did :D 

I was trying to find a fun horse game online and Equiverse popped up.

Um... would one of you be willing to PM me the name of "The Site That Shall Not Be Named"? I'm just dying of curiosity now. :D

anywho i actually found ev through another horse sim horse galaxy and got hooked! i try to play other sims but i just keep coming back here (;

After Rising Dawn stuck around playing on EV post writing assignment, he told me I should play, haha. The other one he'd been playing previously seemed like no fun at all to me, lol, so I'd never had much interest in horse sims. But the art was nice, and it seemed cute and fun, so I gave it a try. And that was back in 2013, and here we are, lol.

I created EV after I became dissatisfied with Horseland and the direction it was going in (adding dogs was the final straw for me, I've been back since the kiddie update though - ugh) so I'm glad others shared my pain ;D

Haha I don't even know the game-that-cannot-be-named...

But I used to play some Dutch horse sim ages about ten years ago, used to be a mod there as well, then I didn't play anything for a while. Read about EV on a big -also Dutch- horse forum and decided to check it out in a moment of boredom... And now I'm hooked ^_^

I found EV almost two and a half years ago by Googling free horse sims lol... I've played a good number of them, like Howrse, the-game-that-shall-not-be-named (I don't know if the "kiddie revamp" was in place yet or not), and some other lesser-known ones, but EV is the only one that I stuck around on :P

Abbey, if I remember correctly, dogs were added not long after I joined that game (around 2004 or 5?)! So your final straw was way earlier than mine!

I only played that game for a few days but dogs were added long before I started playing apparently XD
at least, I'm pretty sure the one I played was Horseland... it's been too long and I forgot

I was never on the Game-that-shall-not-be-named but I was on the other really popular one which also went through a lot of modifications. The population became massive and attracted some rather rude people so I finally had enough and started looking for a new sim to call home. Over the years I've searched for and checked out numerous horse sims but oddly enough EV never came up for me until 2014. I was really surprised to hear how old it was and still can't really figure out why I never found it previously. 
Though, it is possible I did find it sooner and just didn't make an account. Someone did show me a picture from a previous recode and it looked vaguely familiar, but as there wasn't any game info on the main page I probably wouldn't have signed up at the time. -shrugs-

I played Horseland when I was a kid and liked it, and last summer I was looking for a new sim to get hooked on. I went back to Horseland but I didn't like the changes, it wasn't at all like I remembered, so I Googled and found EV and 2 other horse sims. I started playing all 3 but after a week or two I was hooked on this one and stopped playing the others!

My friend in college kept recommending the game and to make her stop I said I try it.  I was suspect of all sim games but this game has got me hooked. I also never pay money for the game upgrades, but again this game is exception that proves the rule. Love EV.
