How did you find EV?

As I was reminiscing about an old horse game that closed due to the inability to update it, I stumbled upon the grand old "Horse games for girls" page (me, being a young adult pfft). Many options are ones I was already a part of and didn't enjoy, but Equiverse was a new face. I joined yesterday and am already in love with everything.

I can't remember how I found EV as it was such a long time ago. I seem to remember another game (long dead) that I was playing around the same time so perhaps I found it via members there that were also players here.

Left a horse sim because of mean players, looked at a page that had a list of online horse sim games and I found EV. Heck, I still remember when if you voted for EV on some contest that was running you got 5k a day (or something along those lines, my memory is a little foggy).

I was googling looking to see if Ludus Equinus had come back around. I played for ages and loved it. Now I am happy here :)

Like many others here, I searched for a new and interesting horse sim game! I played many different horse games back then but I got bored. Once I came across equiverse, it seemed different from the other games and now I'm here and still love it, maybe even more than before. I absolutely love to see this game grow, a lot has changed since I first joined, Abbey has done wonderful job!

I started playing horse sims when I was 14 (7 years ago) and I played Avirtualhorse, I was introduced by a friend at school. Anyway the players were all so childish and silly over things and you had to put in like hours and hours of showing time to even have a decent horse, it was just super unrealistic. I then moved to Eqcetera (a friend on AVH suggested for me to try it) and then I stayed there for a year or two, I still check out the game but I'm not active.. I'm waiting for V2 and I feel likes its never gonna happen :/

yesss I remember AVH... out of all the sim games I've played, I stayed on it for the second longest amount of time (beat only by EV), even though everything was really expensive and all of my horses were old/dead/retired/whatever they called it

Yeah! So many horses were like that. And people mainly focused on breeding Destrals (dragon type draft horse things) I'm super not into magical horses, unicorns I like but not winged ponies, just not my thing. This made it super hard for me to breed my arabians or find any decent ones. All of them were old, had 20 foals or inbred.

I was young when I played it, and I never bred my horses (I couldn't... not high enough of a level? I don't remember why), but I remember the Destrals and I was super happy about the ones I ended up with X'D

I started playing EV by mistake. I was trying to find another horse game that I'd stumbled across a while back but I couldn't remember the name of it (still don't) so I was trying to google it. Equiverse came up in the search results and I mistook it for the other game I was looking for, so I signed up and started playing. That was three and a half years ago. ♥

I was bored and wanted a game to play so I looked up online horse/wolf games, and ended up finding this after an hour or so and thought I would give it a go.

Google. I had been playing several other games and was looking for something better. EV had it’s downsides, but I kept coming back since it was (and is) the best developed horse sim around. The updates have always had continuity and been true to the original concept, unlike so many other sims. Now I’ve been here for 5 years, on and off.
