EV having its own flag design sounds like a good solution.

Can we have a medieval theme event? With jousting? People can be put into teams and joust each other on their profiles. Winners get things for their horse like jousting armor, a crown, or piles of gold. There could also be rewards like medieval pony plushies, etc.

I adore the ideas mentioned for events! The idea of event-megashows is also very interesting :)

As for items i would love to see, something to improve conformation is high on my wishlist.
I would also love to see tack for the events. It could either be relative 'simple' with the current art, for example just with a different browband, a patterned saddle pad or color of the splint boots to go with the events. It could be a simple add-on like a bow, feather or flower in manes or tail or rhythm beads. Or go all out with special tack, even though that's a bit more of a puzzle with what stats it should boost.
but please don't give it limited uses. I want to try on the pretty things on nearly every horse I own.

For events, if more ideas are still needed, maybe we could celebrate the different horse breeds on here, with a day or week fully celebrating a certain breed? I'm thinking something like Appleby for Gypsy's, Arabian Nights for the arabian's (fancy tack! Find alibaba and the 40 thieves all over the site to open their secret den and the treasure inside), the 'elfstedentocht' for friesians (although this example would be winter too, collect items to move to the next city, the more cities you reach the bigger your reward at the end of the event) and so on. Perhaps horses from the equestrian center of that breed during that event would have a slightly better confirmation average.
Or even for disciplines, like racing days (complete with fancy hats and maybe a temporary mini game for betting on non-player-horses).

In the valentines event the plushie was the cheapest option to buy for 10 hearts. Even when the hearts and shards you own become available again for use next time, I would like to spend all, with something that costs one event currency. Maybe just regular treats and feed, perhaps with a different number of uses?

I absolutely love the idea of these suggestions from above:
- a state fair event
- carousel plushie with state fair event
- a medieval themed event with jousting
- a jousting/armoured plushie with the medieval event

I also like the idea of breed themed events. It could be a bit much having a different event for each breed, and having them only last a single day would mean people could too easily miss out on things. We could instead do breed groups so they could be of interest to more people and last longer. We could split them up into things such as:
- draft horses
- ponies
- baroque breeds
- American breeds
- European warmbloods
- African/Middle-Eastern breeds
Discipline themed events would be interesting too.

Ahem. I mean, I love UlyssesBlue's idea.

If we follow Ulysses' idea we could do an one event each month that could last for like a week or two. This does not include the fair and medieval idea, but the discipline and breed idea.

- dressage

It could be a bit intense doing this, but just a thought everyone could thin about. 12 events, 12 months = 1 event each month lasting 1-2 week(s). Of course if we do do this, we she probably alternate the monthly events from breed to discipline.

UlyssesBlue, you are right, a day would be too short.
In my head a breed did not have to come across each year, but waiting two years for a certain breed celebration would be too much indeed, so the grouping makes sense.
If they are returning events we could do a Spotlight on one breed while the others get supporting roles. (And things like in my initial suggestion of higher average conf for the breed would count for all those in the breed group)

I do still like the other ideas a lot, so I think the medieval, state fair and Luau events should not be shoved aside. If it's too much, they too can be mixed. The state fair event goes great with western and or the American breeds. The medieval event and its jousting with the drafts.. I'm not sure what breed group to mix with the Luau yet (maybe the ponies, seeing the chinco is an island pony)

Furthermore, I do believe big updates (ie. foal art, new breeds/crossbreeds...) would deserve mini events too. (For example with the foal art, there could be a limited time sale of a foal laying in the stable decoration, a stork decoration, its a boy/it's a girl balloon decoration, limited time no cool down after foal is born, maybe an item like a baby bottle that can be given to a newborn foal for extra nutritients and give either a early stat boost or better conformation, and perhaps a foal plushie)
