No worries. :) I've put that together in the first post.

Paint x arabian = quarab as well as long as the horse has 1/8 of his blood being arabian.
Appaloosa x any draft horse = sugarbush draft horse. Draft horse with dots are so lovely.

sugarbrush draft horses same to be in the same boat as stonewall horses. They don't seem to be recognized as a real breed by most (but others argue that they are a true breed). They came about after the stonewall draft horses, and are basically the same thing, but with slightly stricter guidelines (over 50% draft, better confirmation). As much as I love the idea of a spotted draft, doing my research, I can only find purebreds that are truly recognized by the majority as a legitimate breed.

Oh
If you cross breed Shetlands and Miniatures you could get Miniatures.
In RL American Shetlands of miniature size are often dual registered as Shetlands and Miniatures so why not have it in the game that Shetland x Mini = Mini?

@megansparrow
Quarab information updated.
Sugarbush draft horses and stonewall sport horses appear to be roughly the same thing, and appear to be someone's breeding project, as opposed to an actual breed. I love the idea of spotted draft horses too, and I believe Gypsy Vanners can actually be spotted, but we don't have that gene in the game breed. I'm hoping they will get it one day though.

@Bright
American Shetlands are a very different breed to normal Shetlands. They have a slim horse-like conformation, which is very similar to Miniatures, and very different to the traditional stocky Shetland. Their registry rules don't appear to allow outcrosses to traditional Shetlands (and we don't have American Shetlands on EV), however they do recognise any Miniature cross as a National Sport Performance Pony, so long as it's under 14.2 hands, so I'll add NSPPs to the list.

Honestly with things like Pintabian which require a certain ratio of Arabian-Paint blood, I'm not concerned with being overly realistic. I'd personally like to see Pintabian as a breed so I'd be willing to overlook things like required percentages in bloodlines. As long as there was an Arabian x Paint at some point, I'm happy. I don't know about everyone else :'D

^ Do you want me to adopt that as a general rule? Because I'm pretty sure I came across a few other breeds developed from crossbreeds which required a minimum of 75% blood of a particular breed, or similar.

Sure :) I'm happy to bypass the more strict rules like that.

No worries. I'll just make a note for breeds like that, and leave it with you as to whether it's possible to work with or not.

Oohh I'd also be on the Kisber Felver train.

Edit: posted this before I realized there was 3 pages and they had already been discussed as a most likely no. Woops sorry :D

If/when the crossbreeds are added, what will the breedart look like? Will each crossbreed have it's own breed-art? Or will the art be from one the breeds that it's crossed with?

^ My understanding from other discussion is that each crossbreed would have their own art, but I'm not an authority on the matter so take that how you like.

I know this thread is old, but I just have to say, I would love to breed Drums on EV. I do in RL :)
Or at least Clydesdale art with full tails; that docked *cringe* tail pains me.

The whole Arab x appy thing.. with ApHC Arabs are an approved cross breed and they're still considered/registerable as an appaloosa.

Is cross-breeding something that is planned for the future - or has it been shelved again?

Curious - as it might be something to plan ahead for if it's going to be implemented :)
