help me pick another breed :|

#86316 Posted on 2017-01-08 11:07:33

so i've adjusted my game strategy somewhat and am finding myself with too much time on my hands and too many empty spaces in my stable.

soooo obviously i need another breed.

i already have arabians, mustangs, and quarter horses.
i also have small side projects of appaloosas, welsh ponies, minis, chinoteagues, and vanners so i'd rather not make them larger.

i like breeds with lots of colors and roan is my favorite marking
any suggestions?

Shetlands are really cute and have very few big breeders, so I suggest those because I'd love to get more breeders into them ♥
I also suggest TBs, but they don't have roan :/

Dutch Warmbloods don't have a ton of color options, but their roan markings look great as both homo- and heterozygous.

Paints! All the same colors as qhs, but I like the art a bit more. Plus they need some breeders to help expand and clean up the breed, I feel it's lacking compared to what it was before my hiatus.

Shetlands could use some more love, and they are adorable!

i think i might do shetlands :D
they are quite cute!

i also bought some 2nd gen trakes from a few miscellaneous players so i think three new breeds is enough for today :P

LOL! Loaded question for me, but I do have to agree that the shetlands are pretty lovable! I have them as one of my two major foundie projects, and am SERIOUSLY thinking of making a dozen customs so I can have a second line flaxens and silvers, which I cannot get with randomizers or applicators...it'd make a good outbreeding to the other line when I was done working with those. ;)
