Flying Free (Equine RP)

Faith

Faith eyed the stick as it went from one side to the next, she would have to time it right. She got ready as it came back, she kicked back at it missing by an inch. "aww come on" she was laughing as she spoke, she moved the stick so that it was in front of her. Mimicking what Charzi did, she moved it from one hoof to the next. She kicked it quickly, watching as it went flying she smiled thinking it would get past her.

Archer

Archer spotted a pitcher plant and flew down to it, he landed a few feet from it walking the rest of the way. He began to guzzle down the water inside it, it was cool and refreshing. When he was done he once again looked around, he still didn't really see anyone around.

Charzi
She jumped to stop the stick, she had stopped it she thought. But it just bounced off her and went into her "goal." She grinned. "Nice shot!" She retrieved the stick and advanced towards Faith.

Orfao
He looked at his hooves as they walked. You'll fly one day, just wait. His heart soared. He had thought that maybe he would never fly. He decided Quet was really nice, not like rumors said he was. Orfao couldn't wait to fly, but he would keep flapping until he did. Like Quet said.

Estrellita:

Estre watched dew drip off a leaf, then slowly crossed the branch. She nibbled a coffee berry, causing it to loosen from it's stem and drop to the ground, then turned. She'd heard a tree falling nearby, but this was something she knew not to meddle with, plenty of flutter-horses would search for the cause, after all. "Overly curious, that's what they are," She muttered, rolling her eyes. "Why such a need to know, anyway?"

Faith

Faith smiled this was a fun a game, she kept her eyes on the stick as it came flying back. She spread her legs out, moving her eyes this way and that waiting for it. She jumped up kicking it, she felt the stick on her hoof as she hit smack in the middle. "Here it comes", so far each of them had one point.

Archer

Archer took off again, he didn't anywhere in mind really. He was thinking of maybe grabbing some moss to put in the tree he had found, that he could make it more comfortable. He slowed down as he spotted a black flutter horse, it was Estrellita. She was eating something though he wasn't sure what, he decided to fly down and say hi. He landed on a branch a few feet from her walking the rest of the way, "hey what are you eating".

Estrellita:

Estre half turned, a brightly colored flutter-horse was speaking to her. "If you must know, it's a coffee berry," She spoke coldly, hoping he would go away. "And I know what you're going to ask next, so I am Estrellita," She looked regal, posed like a queen.

Leonard

He stamped his foot, causing his long feathering to swirl around his leg. "I'm bored," He told a passing tree frog. The frog hopped away, croaking. "Good idea. I'll go find someone to talk to!" He whizzed off, taking a... slightly less than straight route. (zigzags, flips, and flying backwards) Soon, sounds of delight could be heard, and shortly after, he saw two flutter horses, darting back and forth, well a stick went between them, over and over. He smiled, and sat on a branch, higher up, to watch. He could ask them about it later.

Charzi
She kicked it hard, aiming in between Faith's legs. She grinned. "This is fun." She remembered they had to tell Quet about the food, but this was a great way to pass the time. "We should call it Hoofstick."

Quet:
They were nearing the main gathering area, near Quet's log. He spotted two flutter-mares playing around, and snorted.
"What are you doing?" he demanded, trotting toward them. It was Charzi and Faith.

Leonard:

He spotted someone coming, and realized it was Quet. He debated leaving, if Quet, or anyone else, saw him and thought he was spying... He shook the worry from his head, and decided to leave his perch, so he flew to a nearby breadfruit tree, and nibbled at a breadfruit, keeping an eye on the trio of flutter-bugs.

Charzi
She stopped playing and turned to face Quet. "Waiting for you," she said softly. "We gathered fruit and put it into the storage tree." Her voice was stronger on the second half. She wasn't ashamed of playing around.

Orfao
He was glad they were near Quet's log, but... How was he going to get back to his leaf? He sighed softly and decided he'd go back to his leaf when he was able to fly. A reward for flying for the first time. He smiled. That would work.

Quet:
Quet froze. "You did... what?" he hissed, his voice low. "You could have been killed. It's not worth the food." he snapped. He was furious. They could have gotten squashed by the humans, and yet they were foolish enough to steal fruit.

Charzi
She cocked her head. She hadn't said where they had gotten it. "So, don't ever get food? Food is dangerous. Got it." She wasn't usually sarcastic, wasn't usually mad. She stamped her hoof. "Never mind. Sorry. I shouldn't have gotten food for the herd." With that, she flew off.

Quet:
"I have a feeling I know exactly where you got it from." he snapped, glaring at her as she flew away. With that, he turned to Faith.
"Don't ever do that again. If you did get it from the humans, like I think you did, then that's very dangerous."

Leonard:

Now he was getting sleepy, and he was just drifting off when an angry sound snapped through the air, like a twig someone had stepped on. It was quiet, but loud enough to catch his attention. He looked around, and saw it had come from Quet. He decided to fly low overhead, if it caught their attention, then good, if it kept Quet from getting too angry. He was starting to feel sorry for the two mares.

Faith

Faith let the stick fly past as she saw Quet, she didn't see why he was so mad that they got the food. She wasn't going to lie to him as to where they got it, "we did but they where already gone so we thought it would be fine". She hovered off the ground, "it won't happen again if your so worried about it though".

Archer

"Well I already know who you are but okay" he ignored her tone of voice, he may be alone a lot but he knew nearly everyone's name. He looked to the plant that she had been eating off of, "is it any good I haven't had any before". He wasn't hungry right then, but it could be a good snack for another time.

Quet:
Quet sighed and hastily walked forward, going around Faith and up onto his log. He stood there, looking down at his flutter-horses. Risking their lives for stupid things like food when we have plenty of it.
