Bishop
He was stocking the bird in the tall grass. Until he went for chance. He got the! Yes, he said, mmmmm breakfast. He looks around making sure no one was going to steal his breakfast.

Karma

Karma shrugged her shoulders, and continued on passing them. She could of just went another way, but she didn't feel like it. "Excuse me" she said as she passed them, giving then a small smile still griping the ham.

Crow

Crow nodded in acknowledgement as the pitbull passed by.

Noire

She slinked out of the shadows, and sighed as she realized how quickly she would be soaked. She needed food, and soon. Her nose twitched as she tried to pick up a scent of food, but the rain was making it difficult.

Bishop
He was walking with his bird and he saw Noire and stopped. He dropped his bird to talk to Noire.

Noire

Noire froze, realizing she was being watched. She turned her head and met the gaze of the spotted dog, her body tense. Internally, she debated running. She wasn't sure how friendly this new town was.

He stood in his tracks and froze. He didn't know want to say. He had never seen such a beautiful creature.

Bailey ... 1 Yr. Old Female Pit Bull
She looked up and down the street, staring back at the house from which she often came back to. With a sigh, Bailey sat down the whole tan length of her on the front lawn. When will he come back? She looked up at the sky with her amber orbs. I miss you, Man. I know you weren't all that loving, but I miss you. Please, come back to me. She looked down at the grass, noting that it was starting to dry a little. She had always marveled at the little metal things that squirted water and kept the grass green. Now she knew how it happened - Man caused it. Just like he taught her everything he did, which up until she met the big black dog in the back yard she hadn't known the purpose of. All she had known was that since Man had taught her those things, those things were right. Bailey let her mind wander a little bit. She had been walking around for a week now, looking for Man, and coming back here to sleep. She scavenged for food and drank from puddles. For once, the busy streets outside of Man's shelter were silent. Like when she was still a pup, living with Mother and her nice humans. Yes, they had cuddled and cooed, but they were Mother's. Man was Bailey's, despite the fact that he had been harsh sometimes. She had seen love in his eyes occasionally, unlike the time she had spent with Ya Know.

Quincy ... 2 Yr. Old Male Goldendoodle
Quincy sat in his dog bed in his home that he shared with Miss Q. The doggy door enabled him to enter and exit. He had found five huge bags of dog food and torn open one. Water was easily accessible - Miss Q had set up the sink so that there was a mini sink on the floor just for him. Smart, beautiful master. Why she hadn't come home yet, Quincy didn't know. All he knew was that he missed her, and wanted to go do therapy work with the little people at the nice, clean place - or even the old people in the musty home. He didn't care. All he knew is that he hadn't seen any people at all - and the worst part of that was that he hadn't seen Miss Q.

Noire

Unsure of what the strange dog wanted, Noire decided to do what she felt was safest: retreat. She turned and ran back into the woods as quickly as possible, hoping she would not be chased.

Crow

Crow trotted up the street until until he reached the now abandoned pet shop. It was just a store for food and supplies, not so much live animals. However, it had plenty of dry food if you could stomach it, and beds galore. He nudged his way in through the door that was left slightly ajar, and made his way to one of those scratching post cat towers that sat next to the shopfront window. He leapt onto one of the platforms so he could watch the street and laid down.

Whip
Whip relaxed slightly when the stranger spoke his greeting. Perhaps she could join this dog. Being in a pack with other dogs could be helpful; working together to hunt prey, searching for fresh water, defending territory. This dog could help her start a pack.
"I'm Whip. Are you alone? Do you mind if I join you?" She blurted out, cringing at how eager she sounded.

Ace

Ace just looked at her, no other dog had asked to join him. He shrugged his shoulders, "sure why not" he didn't really care if she joined him. He started walking again not waiting for her, "I'm Ace by the way" he looked back at her as he spoke.

Karma

Karma continued to walk, eventually turning down a street with houses on either side of her. She liked to go to the houses, it meant good shelter and if she's lucky easy food. She spotted something laying down in front of one the houses, it was a dog a pit bull. She was a few years younger then herself, she padded over dropping the ham "hi" she wagged the tip of her tail to show that she was friendly.

Bailey
The female pit bull looked up. It was another dog. She wasn't sure whether to growl at her or greet her as well. Man would have had her fight her - if they were at a dog fight. But this was just outside, on the lawn. Bailey looked back toward the house, as if she would see Man there to direct her. She turned back to the other pit bull. "Hi," she said softly.

Quincy
Quincy stood. His legs were beginning to get cramped. He grabbed his favorite rope and headed into the yard. First, he relieved himself. Then he tossed the rope around and chased it. Miss Q used to play rope with him all the time.

Levi

Levi padded around quietly, crawling into an old concrete cylinder and watching from afar. There were many dogs and cats roaming around, many talking amongst each other. He inched forwards to get a better view of the houses, seeing dogs out front. Cursing under his breath, he had hoped for an easy meal from one of the houses. The dog tags clinked against the concrete bottom, making it echo. He cringed knowing his cover had been blown.

Karma

Karma looked to the house, wondering what this dog saw that she didn't. "I'm Karma, and you", she sat down looking at her with ears perked. She was the only dog she's ran into today, she had only seen cats. "was this your home" she looked back to the house then back to her.

Bailey
Bailey looked back at the house. Man hadn't come back since the day the other humans came in the flashing cars and put metal rings around his hands. "Yes. Man, my human, lived here. He taught me and took me to fight. Some other humans took him and I haven't seen him since. I escaped from Ya Know to look for Man."

Quincy
He played until the kinks in his legs were gone, then set out for the pet store he had seen around the block. He didn't want to run out of food - and plus he wanted some Milkbones. He was being a good dog, waiting for Miss Q, and he wanted a treat. But not too many, because too many made his stomach hurt.

Spruce:

"I'm fine, thanks." she replied bluntly to Crow's pet shop offer. I will never walk into a building again. It's too much to bear. she thought, digging her claws into the ground.
