Money in the Snow Piles?

So I was answering a message and on the page telling me my message was sent a snow pile popped up. I gathered up the snow (of course - TEAM BLUE!). The next page said I put the snow in my stockpile but it also said "You found $49!" There's money in the snow? Awesome!

(I hope this ins't a glitch. It was a nice surprise!)

Yes, I did, and no I didn't know they were rare but it is cute and I was excited to recieve it.

Has snowball gathering been made severely restricted or something? In the time it's been going on I've collected a whopping 15 snowballs (and I spend several hours a day on this game), and today, having been on close to FOUR hours now, I haven't gotten a single snowball. NONE. In four hours. Or is it over already?

Regarding money in snow, I think I got it twice. Had no idea there was a plushie.

I think there is a restriction as well, Rising Dawn. It's not over yet, but finding snow is much harder- and I was in the middle of playing when this thing started, and snow was everywhere then! It's almost as if people found it all lol

Maybe it has all melted?

I've found about 1k total in snow piles when all combined and I've found two plushies already. The snow seems to be fairly consistent to me. I got 30 the first day, and 60 yesterday and today.

I find the most snow while caring for my horses (about 20-30 snowballs just while caring for my horse).

The frequency of finding snow seems about the same to me today as yesterday. I also found a Christmas plushie, which made me pretty happy.
