1. If you were going for a natural look, the mane is way too yellow.
2. The hooves are also very yellow if they're suppose to be natural.
3. The nose would fade more before turning straight into pink instead of being stark white one pixel and bright pink the next... basically, the color change is too abrupt for that scenario.
Hope this helps :)

Try using photos of real horses as a reference. When you see a real horse, their hooves are not starkly yellow and neither is their mane. It's about blending colors and using muted tones and greyscales and basing to make the colors fade and mesh well with each other.

As for the pink nose thing, try using a blending or smudging brush over the edge where the nose turns from white to pink. This will smudge the stark edge of it and make it blend better.

And, I can't stress enough, muted tones.

Good luck!

I've been doing art for almost 3 years and I still don't know how to greyscale, but you can find free use ones on deviantart. Same for linearts and all. Obviously, just follow their rules and credit properly.

Also, if you plan on doing art, I recommend getting a program like Photoshop or GIMP or SAI if you don't have one already.
