Juniper

Juniper looked up at the wolf who claimed his name as Nero then back at the carcass. "It's freezing in fact," she said seriously before stretching for the carcass and pulling it closer. She took a cautious bite, not really sure why she was being skiddish at this point. Nero obviously proved his trust to her, she just found it hard to believe. It wasn't often that she was in contact with her own kind. Looking back at the Nero, she licked her muzzle. "I'm Juniper." Her half of the carcass was nearly scarce of meat left and it made her realize how hungry she was. Or how little the meal really was.

Nero

Nero looked at her with a confused look at first as he noticed that she was skittish he didn't see why he gave her no reason to be, he finished his side within a few more bites. He sighed it barely did anything for his hunger, he lifted his head up looking at her again "well it's nice to meet you then Juniper". With it getting dark he need to find some kind of shelter, he wasn't sure if the spot he slept in last time at the Deadwood Forest would be taken by another animal or not. "it's getting dark we should find shelter for the night" he shook his head realizing he said we and not I, he didn't want her to think he was coming of as someone thinking she can't find her own place for the night.

Akita

She curled up in her makeshift den, the cold wind blowing into the den occasionally as she lied down, watching the weather outside as well as the stars rising.

York

He began to gobble up the half eaten carcass happily, the cold air not bothering him much as he filled his belly. burping contentedly he licked his mouth clean before looking up to the dark sky."what do you know" he muttered. A beautiful half moon was shining in the sky. On a whim he sat up strait, tilted his head back and howled to the night

Juniper

Juniper nodded, agreeing that it was time to find shelter. She wasn't exactly tired, but her wound began to ache and the cold of the night was nipping at her. Looking around she saw no premade holes to curl in. "Where do you suppose we go," she asked genuinely. She hated to insinuate that they would be staying together for the night, especially when they didn't even know each other very well.

Nero

Nero perked his ears up as he heard a howl coming in the direction of Mammoth Plains, he didn't really think much of it seeing as it was only one and not really close to him. "Last time I found a place in Deadwood Forest it was a forgotten hole in between a tree and a rock it's big enough for two, I'm just not sure if it's taken or not for the night", he stood up looking toward the forest he mentioned it wasn't that far so it wouldn't take them that long to get to.

Sacka:

Sacka heard the howl. Filled with curiosity, she started trotting in that direction. Before long, she was running. When she thought she was within a mile of where the howler was, she howled in response; a crisp, loud howl that still sounded kind of puplike. She cursed under her breath.

Juniper

Juniper perked her ears at the second howl that pierced the night sky. "I guess we can check there then," she said as she scanned her surroundings for any other wolves in the surrounding area. So far she had determined four wolves including herself and who knew how many more there might be. "This is an awful popular place, huh."

Maddox

Maddox awoke from his short slumber to two awful sounding howls. One was familiar but he had no idea who the other howl belonged to. He stood and stretched, obviously irritated that he had be woken so soon after he had gone to sleep. "Who could possibly be entering my territory this time," he said aloud with a glint of anger and irritation. He padded away from his den and towards the sound of the two howls. Not far from where he had taken down the buffalo with Akita earlier stood a male wolf. Maddox flattened his ears at the sight of a possible challenge from a lone wolf. 'I can only handle so many lone wolves in my territory' he thought 'and many that come and go are female not male.' He padded closer to the male and gave a low warning growl. "State your business," he ordered to the other wolf.

Sacka:

Sacka caught a glimpse of the other wolf now- a dark brown male with white on his chest. He was a stranger to her.
But not the voice that spoke just then, the voice that had spoken "state your business." That had been Maddox.
Annoyed that she now couldn't confront this loner on her own, she strode into the Silent Hill Forest to try and hunt. It was a small, dark forest that was barely explored, but she wanted to make sure she wasn't disturbed.

Nero

Nero heard the second howl and now was a little less relaxed, he knew that a pack ruled this area and he didn't really want to bump into them and cause trouble. He nodded in agreement "it sure is, it seems like more and more wolves are coming here", he turned toward the Deadwood forest and started walking. Hopefully the shelter he had in mind was unclaimed and they would have a place to stay, if not he didn't know where any other good spot would be.


Jinx a grey ash colored 2 year old female with amber colored eyes

Jinx padded softly through Silent Hill Forest looking for somewhere to sleep for the night, she was hoping to find a premade hole near a tree if not then she'd have to dig it and she wasn't looking forward to that. She yawned as she looked up at the half moon smiling, she loved the moon it seemed so limitless especially when it was full.

York

He smiled at the pup but frowned at Maddox "I have none, I was simply passing through" he stated calmly his yellow eyes not flinching from Maddox's

Akita

She woke up and crawled out of her den stretching. She had heard two howls. Perhaps it was Maddox? She doubted it was him considering they had plenty o food currently and this howl was deeper than Maddox's "wouldn't hurt to check it out" she muttered as she briskly trotted towards the figures on mammoth plains

Sacka:

Sacka heard the rustling sound of footsteps. Turning her head, she caught a glimpse of gray fur moving between the trees.
"Who goes there?" she challenged.

Jinx

Jinx turned to the sound of the voice ears perked, "who asks" she wasn't just about to give her name out to just anyone. She approached the voice now seeing that it was just a pup, she smirked and here she thought it might be a big wolf wanting a fight not that she'd win or anything.

(just for clarification, Sacka isn't a true pup. she's about the equivalent of a teen. it's fine if others call her a pup to taunt her, though. :))

Sacka:

Sacka flattened her ears.
"I ask." she snorted flatly. "Why does it matter, stranger? Get away from my woods."

( ohh okay when you said 10 month old I thought puppy not teen :) )

Jinx

Jinx looked down at her "I don't answer to pups", she let out a small growl "and from the last time I checked no woods belonged to some one so young". She wasn't about to back down from anyone especially some one as young as her, not to mention she was tired and had been traveling for awhile now.

(she would have been weaned long before now, so that's why I don't consider her a pup)

Sacka:

"It's my pack's woods, actually, so yes. They're mine." Sacka retorted. "And I'm not a pup." she finished. She bared her teeth slightly. She knew it wouldn't be at all smart to attack, but she would hold her ground... even though she wished to pounce.
