Maddox

Maddox sprinted just behind the female in which he hadn't learned her name yet. He sped up, nipping just a few metres from the calf's heels. He pushed his legs to go faster as all instincts took over his whole body. Leaping for the calf, he barred his teeth and claws ready to latch on to whatever part of the calf he could get.

Akita

Not wanting to be beaten by the male wolf she ran to the calf's left side and latched on to its shoulder, using her weight to slow it down. She swung her head side to side in order to tear open a larger wound in the buffalo's shoulder. She noticed the calf was beginning to slow down under the weight of the two wolves

(Btw what time of year is it? Winter?)

Maddox

Maddox pulled his weight down as his jaws latched to the hind end of the calf. It was now slowing down as both he and the other wolf were pulling it down together. He bit down harder, hearing the calf cry out. He shifted his weight slightly and the calf slowed considerably giving him the chance to push the calf off its feet. In one swift move the calf was dead.

(It's Autumn, but approaching to winter)

Akita

She licked the blood off of her white mouth as the calf died, giving a howl of triumph, which immeadiantly after she began eating out of the torn shoulder that she had hung on minutes before. After a few bites she looked up at the male wolf "I guess we never officially introduce ourselves did we?" She said "my names Akita"

Nero

Nero wasn't even able to start before he saw two wolves bring down the calf great there goes my food he thought as he stood up, he started walking around them going to the to the side to the other side make he'll be lucky and find something smaller to eat. He eyed both them and the calf's carcass as he passed them.

Maddox

Maddox lifted his head from eating, to look at the wolf that called herself Anita. Licking his muzzle clean, he sat down now content that he had a decent meal. "Maddox," he replied casually. He licked his paws of the red stains of blood in an attempt to return them to their original silver color. He turned his attention back to Anita, wondering if he could truly trust her. "Thanks for the hunt, I mean not that I really needed your help." Being cocky wasn't usually in his nature, but he wasn't about to immediately befriend this she wolf. He got up to walk away, more towards Bear Claw Lake for a drink. Something caught his eye off in the grass, but he brushed it off quickly assuming he was imagining it.

Nero

Nero stopped as he saw one of the wolves walk away from the carcass he watched as he walked toward what seemed like Bear Claw lake, he stared moving again standing to his full height if the wolf did spot him he wasn't going let him think that he was weak. He headed to Little Bear River hoping to catch something there that's grabbing a drink.

Akita

She laughed at Maddox's cockyness "sure" she said as he walked away "if you need another hunting partner just howl" she jested at him as he walked away, eating more off of the carcass. She didn't notice Nero as he passed too interested in the food

Maddox

Maddox chuckled, "Will do." He picked up his pace toward Bear Claw Lake itching for a cool drink of water. After lapping up the ice cold liquid, he sat and stared at the sky. The sun was beginning to lower beyond the trees, and he knew that it would be dark in a short amount of time. He turned his head, seeing if Akita was still by the carcass, but he was not able to see her through the tall dying grass. He stood, shaking the dust from his coat and wondered for a moment to go back to the carcass or go back to the den. He looked up at the sky once more just to see the sun slip away and the moon come to view.

Juniper

Juniper yelped as a moose chased after her through the trees. He clearly wasn't happy about a wolf being so close to him. She leaped over a log and laid low, just out of the moose's sight. As she heard the moose stumble off in the direction they came she stood to her feet. "I'll teach you," she cursed in the direction of the moose. Turning on her heels, she headed out of Red Ash Forest. The aching of her right hind leg let her know she had a wound from her encounter with the moose moments ago. It didn't bother her though. As she neared the edge of the trees, she noticed a wolf near the other side of Little Bear River. She froze in panic, not knowing whether to hide herself or not.

(I have come to notice that I never actually described Maddox's appearance so I am going to do so now just so you know. -Maddox 5 year old silver wolf with white tips on ears, tail, and paws and black streaks on chest and back cobalt blue eyes- -Juniper 3 year old solid black wolf with only a silver streak going down the left side of the muzzle emerald green eyes-)

Nero

Nero approached the river slowly as he spotted a rabbit not far from the water, he licked his lips as he broke into a run cutting the rabbit off just in time from escaping. He clamped down on the back killing it and began to eat, once eating he noticed a wolf looking at him from the other side of the river. Nero looked at the black wolf trying to figure out if it was going to cross the river or was it just going to stand there.

Juniper

Juniper stared at the wolf who had just killed a rabbit and now was looking dead at her. Her muscles were tense as she stood rigid and watched what the wolf would do. He was bigger than her and probably much stronger. She contemplated for a moment on whether she would take her chances back with the moose or with the male wolf across the river. Lowering her head in submission, she decided to take her chances with the wolf. She was already slightly injured from the puncture wound on her hind leg and didn't think it could get any worse. She shifted her eyes up see what reaction the wolf gave if he had given any reaction at all.

Nero

Nero looked at her noticing her submission to him and her wound, he slightly nodded letting her know he wasn't going to be messing with her if she crossed over. He was curious as to how she got injured, "what happened to your leg" he said as he moved his head to get a better look at it.

Juniper

Juniper raised her head, feeling slightly more relaxed. She glanced at the wound the wolf was referring to. It wasn't very deep but that didn't make it look any less painful. "Moose attack," she replied simply as she wanted to keep her words minimal. The blood was already drying and it looked of least concern to her worries at the moment.

Nero

Nero nodded he knew how moose can be "I hate moose they can unpredictable more so then other prey", he could tell she still seemed unsure about him though he was happy she was more relaxed. "It's going to be pretty hard hunting on your own with that leg of yours, how do you plan on eating", he was actually concerned for her which was new for him and he was shocked that he was.

(Sacka: ruthless, sarcastic, trouble-making; somewhat-small 10-month-old female wolf; gray in color with a good amount of reddish-and-white tinting on her fluffy fur; white horse-like "blaze" down the middle of her face and around her whole muzzle; pale pink nose; sharp, bright, this color eyes with brown flecks and streaks in them)


Sacka:

Sacka crept through the tall grass, her small size hiding her. She saw a large frog near Bear Claw Lake, and was determined to catch it. Closer...
It was only three feet in front of her now. Suddenly, a wolf plunged his head into the water about twenty feet away from her. The frog croaked and leapt into the water, splashing Sacka's face.
Even though she wasn't actually planning on eating the frog, Sacka was angry. Like a whiny pup who didn't get her way, she jumped up and flattened her ears defiantly.
"Hey!" she growled at the male wolf. "You scared away the frog I was hunting!"
Only then did she realize that she had just snapped at the Alpha wolf of her pack. Oh well, she thought arrogantly. He already knows who I am and how I act.
