Those are all great points! But we don't exactly have certain body types of horses on here. We just have goods, perfects, ect. So I don't really know how that idea would be implemented...

Disclaimer that I'm a USEF carded judge, so it gives me a different perspective, perhaps.
We use a score card when judging Arabians & Half-Arabians. I would say first & foremost that conformation shows here should be breed specific. I've had to judge halter classes with Friesians & minis in there together. It absolutely comes down to personal preference once you rule out conformation issues. I think a conformation show here in EV should be to prove the best of a breed. In fact, at our breed shows, we'd never even show a stallion vs. a mare in a conformation class. I doubt EV wants to break it down THAT much, though, lol. Of course, we DO have slightly different expectations in an Arabian mare vs. a stallion. For example, we expect a stallion's ears to be smaller & tighter. They should be masculine in appearance and have an abundance of presence and charisma. Of course you don't want a masculine mare, and that would affect her score for her, or a feminine stallion.
Of course if you want to keep it random, having all breeds in there would be a way of doing that?
And yes, there is certainly training for a halter horse. The three I've owned that have done it a lot all started in it young (yearlings), and they really remember it for life. I haven't set up my 12 year old mare in about a year and a half. I know I could go pull her out of the pasture now and have her stood up to perfection (in a regular barn halter, no whip or aids) in minutes. I could probably do it IN the pasture, lol. It's much different than performance training, which keeps evolving with room for improvement. That might be something to consider, too. I mean yeah, I'd have to school a little to get the right show stance, but it's just fine tuning. It's not teaching something new.

Yeah, different breeds have different body types, but like I said, EV doesn't go by that. It just has stuff like "poors" and "goods". So, if we were to implement breed-specific confo, the game would have to be edited.
Point is, breed-specific confo would be cool, but unless Abbey wants to edit every horse in the game's confo, then I don't think that could happen.
But it's a cool idea, and that would add a whole new level to confo breeding.
