Now I've read somewhere about collecting funds from the bank once a week, did I understand wrong?

It used to be like that, if you find it again, please let us know since it has changed to daily interest which you can collect at the bank! :)

You have to have money in your bank account, and you will get a little bit each day :)

On the old version of EV you could collect a weekly allowance. Once EV transferred to this version it was removed and replaced with a daily interest.
In order to receive it you need to have money in the bank, some people put all of their in hand money into their bank at the end of the day in order to gain the maximum amount of interest.
