[ADDED] *Breeder Prefixes & Easy-See Confo

If the purpose of a prefix is to show horse's you've bred, that already appears on each horse's page. "Bred by x" If it's not, I'm not clear on why you need a prefix at all?

As far as conformation, this has been asked for in various different suggestions. I'd happily vote for anything that makes it quicker/easier to sort and find the conformation I'm looking for.

As per the others, I'd be willing to vote if these two issues were split.

@ Kattwo, as stated several time in different thread, Bred By X are flawed.

1. Some players had horses bred by spare accounts.
2. In old EV, there's limit on how many horses you can buy in Equine Center. Often, players would ask someone with tokens to buy horses for them when they ran out tokens. These horses' bred by will show buyer instead of owner.
3. Broodmares. Because we don't have nice feature like Stud, foals that born by broodmare will show broodmare's owner as bred by instead of foal's owner.

With prefix, we won't need to memorize 5 different ID# to keep track of our horses. We don't need to worry about other player take full credit for any foals birth out of broodmare. Etc.

Majority of us already have prefixes for our horses. With Abbey's suggestion in other thread, I support the idea of having prefix.

I agree with small bits of this.
It would be really cool to apply a prefix or a brand to the horse so it would be easier to track down the breeder or something like that.

BUT, it's unfair if it has to be a deluxe thing. I speak for myself when I say that I CAN'T buy credits so I can't have a deluxe membership.

However, it would be awsome if the basic accounts could have 1 prefix/brand and deluxe accounts could have 2.

I think it would be best if there was a way to add prefixes, or a brand more accuratly, somewhat separate from the horses name. It would still show up in the horse search (maybe like how color and stats show up?) This would be a sort of compromise between the two parties. It still allows players to change there horses name, but allows other owners to track their linage through horses. I know not being able to change a horses name, or having an ugly prefix in a horses name would be a pain for me, as I like my horses to all have a themed and well liked name. Having a name stuck I don't like would cause me to pay less for a horse than I would have. However, a brand is more off to the side like I suggested I wouldn't think twice about and would still bid my normal amount.

Yes to the confo, no the prefixes. I'd leave if prefixes were added. xD

I really like the prefix idea... but, what if they got very long? Here's a couple ideas:
~they can only be a max of, say, 5 characters long maybe?
~they are separate from the name so your naming length isn't decreased (because there's a block that prevents you from making a name too long)

It already says who it has been bred by...

@WesternWays...yes, but you have to follow the link. The discussion is mainly about making it easier to tell if it's your breeding, not to mention...yeah, I know, this is probably aggravating...I will make mention that breeder prefixes are a part of real life, and the game is simulating real life. :P

I think it would be nice to have something where you could search, for example, all of the foals bred by you easier, on your homepage maybe? Is that kind of your idea? Sorry, just kind of confused.

That's sort of the concept...prefixes appear on pedigrees to indicate who the breeder of a given animal was, although what you suggest is far from a bad idea, just because you can search for animals owned by specific breeders right now, but you cannot search for animals originally bred by a certain breeder.

Ok, I get what you mean. I really like the conformation search though.

there is already a "search by breeder id" on the horse search page.

putting your id number allows you to see all horse you've bred (as well as all the horses you bought from the equine center)
