Elegant, that art is beautiful!

I've decided to mostly get out of mustangs :/
they were my favorite (and first!) breed on equiverse, but I'm just not a fan of the way the colors that i was breeding for look now. I'd rather just focus on other breeds that look the way i want.

I still have a store pair whose colors i like, and a mutli-gen pair who have high enough stats to make them worth keeping, but once the foals from those pairs retire I'm going to be done with mustangs.

Also.. how are some of you going about increasing your foals stats? I'm completely stumped and it's super frustrating to have foals gaining maybe one stat every few days from treating. I might just suck it up and feed some of them peppermints..

Peppermints and competitions when they are old enough.

I´ve decided also to do my own Mustang art, specially for those with wite patterns. The most I look at them, the less I like them. It really looks like someone did the greyscale and then other person decided to put some patches by scratching the color, if that makes sense. They look like very (VERY) bad etching customs!

I had considered when the game came to the new version, of bringing my brumbies across as mustangs. I guess i chose not to because of their stats when i looked at them again. I might get into Mustang breeding however, at some point.

I do know that colour, conformation and stats, particularly lower non spec stats, will be important. I won't keep any storeboughts under 55.00 average conformation or higher than 55 non spec stats... I also won't be keeping any greys! For me, these things will be important in whatever I choose to do. Also I will be working on my lines so that there are no blank spots, nor any inbreeding. Though I wish checking genotype was cheaper!

Is there a point in reviving a topic that's been dead for 3 years? This thing was from the site transfer

For mustangs, i like a range of colors.

Sorrel ( i don’t currently have one in the herd.)
All champagne variation
All cream variations
All dun variations
Most sooty variations
flaxen
The only color i avoid is gtay, because i always confuse these horses with white horses after they are completely gray.

I prefer them to either have no pattern or splash and roan patterns.

I breed for color, stats, and conformation.
My current goal is to reduce their non specialty stats.
