Anyone else?

So I used one of my witches brew potions on one of my Andalusian mares. Bred her to one of my own stallions. I got the notification that the mare had given birth to "new foal" and "it's sibling". However, when I go to find the sibling, I discovered that the colt was deceased?

Has anyone had this happen? I've never used a twin potion (that I can remember) so not sure if this is a possibility, or if I just got really unlucky and found a weird bug. 

yes it's intentional, witches brews have a high chance of one of the foals being born dead.

Unfortunately, that is the surprise with the Witch's Brew.

I have used it on two mares so far and had to bring the second foals back.

I bought a bunch of these during the event, so I guess I will only use them when I have the cedits to bring the twins back.

Does anyone know the probabilities of the foal being alive? I just am curious

I used it on two mares.

First resulted in two ALIVE foals. One however was sickly, therefore her conformation is severely stinted. 
Healthy Foal - 57 confo, 14.3 hands high
Sickly Foal- 49 confo, 13.2 hands 

Clearly the sickly is not being shown due to that confo. I also don't plan on breeding her unless I happen to find a really good stud which is highly unlikely. 

The second mare was a paint, one foal was born alive, the other dead. 

Those are my experiences so far. 

yeah sucks when i get the genes i want on the sickly one lol. at least the dead one will have similar confo/stats to the living one and you can revive them later, with sickly ones you can't really do much c': funny enough i think that's the only reason i've ever used draughts.

I have never used them for this reason. I have a few sitting in my inventory but don't have the stomach for dead foals, even if they are just pixels.
