Happiness does stay up without treating as long as horses are cared for

I'm a bit confused by the not allowing 2 treats comment as the game only allows 1 treat per horse a day, is there a way to circumvent the block?

i think it's about this suggestion which makes it easier to raise stats evenly? as opposed to switching treats regularly to prevent one from getting higher than the other.

@ Eliza - Forgottenland is correct.

I like to keep my horses' stats evenly as possible for breeding purposes. I had to feed green apples manually to the horses who need them then use auto-care to feed the yellow apples to the remaining horses. I have fibromyalgia and it's painful on my wrist to click and scroll multiple times daily. I already had to do that to view horses' show results daily and treats are just an additional hassle.

unsure if it's something you've already considered, but one method people use to reduce clicking is assigning opposite treats to mares and stallions. for example, all your dressage stallions are permanently on green apples while the mares only get yellow apples. i've never tried it so i'm not sure how evenly allocated the foal stats end up, but in theory it should keep them pretty close to even.

I am considering that for my 2nd gens but at the same time, their stats are already pretty high so I might just skip treating altogether due to new showing changes. I am kinda perfection so I like it for all of my 1st gens to be evenly out because my deceased 1st gens have even stats lol.
