Would you be interested in a Pony Penning Day?

Hello everyone! I had an idea, and I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in taking part or helping me with it. a bit of a long read so let's go!

Okay, so every year on Assateague island, wild ponies are rounded up, swam across the channel, and auctioned off to keep the herds at reasonable numbers. I read that usually about 50 ponies are sold each year. So, I was wondering if anyone wanted to do that with me :D 

Basically, 50(maybe more) Chincos would be bought at the EC, gene tested, Gg/GG culled, then put up for auction in the Auction House. I need 3-4 people to help, so we each need 10-12 open barn spaces. I would pay for all of it(100k minimum cost, probably 300k bc grays >>;) We would have until July 27th to do this, so plenty of time :D Would anyone be interested in a bunch of cheap ponies? And helping purchase and house them? (reserve price would be 1k, so if you really want a certain pony, make sure to bid at least that much, also if someone bids on a pony but it's not enough to meet the reserve price, you could just PM me or whoever helps out and we'll get you the purdy poneh ya wanted ;D)

I think that covers most of it, any questions? (also pony money donations may be needed if I can't cover the whole cost myself, in which case I'll post a pony donation thread, and all money will go to the ponies [and if you have any gg chincos you want to cull, just PM me and it will be added to the auction, I'll buy it from ya])

Edit: I have decided I need 4 people to help with the ponies, so if want to help here's a form to fill out so I know exactly who will be joining♥ 
Rules: 
1. You need at least 15 open barn slots(you will have to house 10 chincos once we've weeded out all grays...
That's really it for participating, also I need 4 people minimum, but more than that is hugely appreciated and makes the work easier for everyone♥♥

btw for the form you can do just name, just ID, or both, doesn't matter :3 also answer text is already set to pink just so I can see it better ;P

Ooooo...... considering I'm getting my numbers down I just might be interested in this. I do have some gorgeous Assateague ponies but haven't had time to work with them at the moment. If I do get into this, they would have to have stats for show jumping, under 60 Non-Speciality stats, and have 55 plus in conformation. Color is an added bonus; I could always throw color randomizers at them. 

yayyyy!! I just wanna make sure it won't be a waste of money lol :3 I think it'd be a great way for everyone(especially newer players) to get pretty ponies for low prices, and with no grays in the auction(I may keep the grays and hold a separate auction the next day so those guys have a chance, I know Tuna breeds grays) there would be a better gene pool for public broods/studs with no grays :)

I need to look again for any chincos lying around the divisions since I went more then just a little cuckoo..
But I'd be happy to help store some horses around for the auction!

Just not my main suit for tiny ponies..

that's wonderful to hear my friend! I just need a few horses to *ahem* kick the bucket... so I have space for the horses ;3

I think this would be a really fun idea but maybe not all GG/Gg's culled? I know I don't mind them as long as it isn't my entire herd and many people are okay with just tossing coat randomizers at them. 

yeah, I think if we were to keep them they could be entered into auction the next day for a Gray-Only auction, because what if it's a red dun or cremello or such but has Gg/GG :( then a wonderful horse would be gone when 2 credits would fix it :D 

I would just cull most basic colors with gray, like bays and chestnuts... anything with a modifier/dilution gene gets a pass :3

I don’t play the horsey part anymore but I can donate 6 EVC  for those gray remover items. (I think that’s still a thing? It just says DNA tweak(gray) so idk if that item adds it or removes it.. it’d be nice if it said lol)

You can turn GG or Gg to gg with the dna tweak :)
