Honestly I don't know if my family has any traditional foods on Christmas. I haven't spent Christmas with my dad's side of the family since we moved out of state, and I still don't really know my mom's side. Then I try to avoid my future stepdad's side, but yeah I honestly don't know. Mainly because I just snack on the sugars XD

ooo we usually have some kind of meat curry, like fish or lamb. or we roast a couple small chickens in the oven! whichever it is will go with tons of rice and veggies c: oh and also a side of potato, either mashed or curried as well. as for desserts we don't really have much of a tradition anymore, though when i was young we liked making christmas cookies ♥ we'd make a huge ball of sugar cookie dough and split it into a few smaller balls. everyone would take a dough ball and use food coloring, cookie cutters, and sprinkles to make their own batch of cookies :)

Our family is more about specific desserts than dinner? Like we make Boston Cream Candy and Swedish gingerbread every year. Which... I have yet to make either yet. Or put up my tree. I'm very behind.

Lazanki (small, square pasta) with minced poppy seeds, some people also add raisins and nuts.

My family is pretty basic when it comes to Christmas foods. We do usually do finger foods at Christmas though instead of a traditional dinner. We usually have chips and dip, raw fruits & veggies with ranch and fruit dips, ham biscuits, sausage balls, meatballs, and taco salad. Then for deserts it's usually cakes and Christmas candy. We also make peanut butter potato candy, but we didn't have any this year.
