Isles of Somewhere | Sequel Rp

"Alright.." Esmeray nodded, he stood there for a good bit before walking off somewhere, Moonlight just mde sure that Smoke stayed where she was- even if she was or is going to wake up, but it looked like the black coated mare slept a little more before moving a bit- whilst also releasing noises to indicate pain and uncomfortableness.

"Its alright Smoke, you'll feel less pain when Nysa puts a spell on you, it won't last long. But it'll last long enough for you to not be in pain to get into the stretcher, which are very good wolves that very patient. Which is nice of them to just stand there and wait." Moonlight told Smoke, she eventually nuzzled the mare as Smoke moved a little bit due to the nuzzling but she did start waking up slowly.

"Oh no, you just lay there until Nysa had casted that spell on you, she can't afford to miss if you get up." Moonlight told Smoke, the mare just gently pushed Smoke's head back down onto the stone as it was rough but not scratching anything up.

"But.." Smoke was about to talk until she got uncomfortable and groaned due to the pain to talk, Moonlight just tried rubbing her head gently on the stone but Smoke got up and got aggressive about Moonlight trying to nuzzle Smoke's stoned side.

"Don't! I don't want you to get stoned in case that stallion finds us and begins to continue stoning me, the stoning on me stopped because that stallion left, meaning that if he flies and finds us- the stoning will automatically continue. And I don't want another herdmate to nuzzle me whilst I'm getting stoned. I don't want to put more pressure on Nysa because of me." Smoke groaned and moved due to her talking while in pain, and then roughly layed down due to talking, but she continued when she rested her head back down.

Moonlight only got saddened but listened and nodded at what Smoke said, even though it hurt Moonlight to see Smoke talking while being in pain due to her half stoned body not working like the rest of the half, but Moonlight but sighed and layed down to make sure that Smoke at least got comfortable once more.

"Nysa do you have that spell ready? I'm just curious so that Smoke doesn't have to wait any further, but I also want you to take your time while making sure that you got it understood about the spell your gonna cast." Moonlight asked Nysa, she didn't want to be a burden and her voice let Nysa know about how she was speaking, but Moonlight was also curious and didn't want Smoke to wait further whilst in being in more pain.

Roulette was looking around the brush and scanning the area around so that no more predators would attack, even his brother Silhouette was scanning on the opposite side, though Esmeray was talking with Raven since she seemed to be lonely and had no one to talk too.

"Esmeray did you know that my mother used to have wings? But they disappeared when my mother no longer needed them, but she could always ask aunt Eclipsetess if she needed them again, I wonder how she felt about feeling the wind in her hair and landing perfectly." Raven asked Esmeray, the stallion didn't know that Raven's mother had wings before, but he now knows that.

"My mother also said that she also had a temporary horn too, but she forgot about it and it too also disappeared, she was technically an alicorn for a short while, but it was back before any of us young horses were born, Smoke was the only mare that lived during that time, and she was still young. But I don't get it why she still lived through the stoning, sure she looks young but she's supposedly-supposed to be 5 years old, yet I don't understand why she tagged along- I'm not jealous or mad, I'm just confused on why that stallion even let Smoke live.." Raven told Esmeray, at first she sounded jealous, but then mad, and now confused. Raven was right, it made no sense for Smoke to be still alive even if she's an actual mature mare, but she tagged along to help with rescuing Minette. And that was a good enough reason to be here.

"Well whatever the true reason is; I'm sure you won't care about the answer, because you know how much you want to help out with Smoke, but it's also fine as well. Because your such a sweet mare. Besides Nysa and Moon, you should form a sweet mare group only, so that only sweet mares like you can tell stories to each other." Esmeray told Raven, he then began nuzzling the mare as she just put her head on his broad chest, she also smiled and maybe quietly giggled too due to Esmeray nibbling Raven's forelock.

"Wow, I didn't know you two had a better relationship then the twins themselves, but you two should definately be a new couple, your both perfect for each other." Marrow said, she was off being silent and the background character to fill in the scenes that went on, but Raven giggled and looked away as Esmeray kept trying to nibble her forelock.

"Well I mean.. We do.. I hate you Marrow.." Raven was stunned with words, but Esmeray giggled and walked away, even though their mother's knew each other, they knew they couldn't be actually together since they were acting like cousins instead.

"But still we can't actually form a relationship since our mother's know each other, making us cousins instead, and that would also be wrong as well Marrow. We only act sweet to each other is to get one or the other to smile, but we have different crushes as well. So yeah.." Esmeray told Marrow, he stood next to her since his mother didn't know Marrow's mother, but he knew Marrow was already taken, he didn't forget about that.

"Technically you two aren't related at all, but I do you know your right, but I love to tease other horses here and there: Just Eclipsetess or Azulia.." Marrow told Esmeray, she already knew but didn't care and chose to forget what he said anyways, but still.

"Heh yeah.." Esmeray looked away and didn't smile as Marrow looked down, both Trickster and Azulia were stoned, and yet Marrow forgot that. But she apologized to both Raven and Esmeray. The two took the apology and walked away shortly after..

"I'll just be over here in the silence now.. If anyone needs me.. Don't forget I'm here! Heheh.." Marrow stood there, she still sounded sad and still wanted to apologize more then she had, Raven began to try and eat the frozen swaying grass that was there.

     Nysa watched Esmeray for a moment before she looked at Moonlight then Smoke. She hated seeing the mare in that state wishing she could do what Minette did, but if she was going to try that spell, she had to make sure she was comfortable doing it and that she understood it enough. Either way she didn't want to make things worse for Smoke. She was already suffering.

     Though Nysa looked over at the wolves forgetting they were there for a moment, "It shouldn't hurt..it'll just ease the pain for a bit. It won't last forever, but by the time it wears off I should be able to try the spell that..Minette did.." she sighed looking down for a moment. "I just don't want to hurt you more." she said quietly. Well she seemed to talk quieter then she normally did since what happened.

     Nysa took a small step back as Smoke snapped a bit, "You won't. I just want you to be healed. I don't want to see you hurting either. Let's not worry about that stallion right now. Just try to keep movement to a little alright? It'll help with the pain too." she said letting out a sigh, "I can't even bother to think about the critters at home..." she said mumbling. There was so much going through her mind. With each minute that passed, the more she just needed to stop and rest.

     Either way that could wait. Nysa had looked at Moonlight and nodded, "I've done it enough times I know what I'm doing. Wouldn't want to keep the wolves waiting longer then they have to be.." she said before she took a deep breath or two as she tried clearing her mind enough she could focus on the spell. It didn't work too well, but it would have to do. Nysa just hoped it'd work.

     Though as she started performing the spell, some of her markings, mainly her white markings, started to glow a bit as well as her horn which was a bit longer than her mother's and father's horns. Not by much. As Nysa was performing the spell, a light blue glow formed around smoke until the spell was complete. Nysa looked at Moonlight before looking at Smoke, "Alright help me get her onto the stretcher. The spell is strongest for a short time after it is completed." she said.

     Apollo had flown up above the Isle a bit getting a look around the place. Though he couldn't be up there long as he quickly went back to the ground. The young stallion had just shook his body and flapped his wings, "Geez it's cold up there...even got some frost on my feathers." he said to no one in particular. He looked over at Moonlight and Nysa helping Smoke before he overheard part of the current conversation.

     "Well..flying..it's thrilling I guess...not sure how to really say it, but I know Solstice's wings aren't real..either way she loved flying.." he said a bit quietly not wanting Nysa to overhear. Good thing cause she was too busy to even eavesdrop on the conversation. Though Apollo got a bit distracted when he realized there was still some frost on his wings as he flapped them hard to get them back to normal, "I hate the cold.." he muttered.

      Once he was done with that, Apollo looked over at Smoke, "She didn't tag along. We made her come with us. You really think we were just going to leave her there like that? She was being turned to stone when we were too focused on that stallion and Minette..as soon as he was gone the stone stopped. That's the only reason she's alive. We should be helping Nysa and Moonlight though.." he said before he went over to help, "Can't be rude making these wolves wait awhile." he said as he trotted over to help with Smoke if it was needed.

Moonlight didn't complain as she helped Nysa with getting Smoke onto the stretcher as the wolves began wagging their tails happily, they sure were patient but I guess that they loved to move more, anyways as Moonlight made sure that every inch of Smoke was on the stretcher, she made sure that she was even secure enough to be stable with how wolves walk, some bobble up and down- though that'd be trotting instead..

As Moonlight made sure that everyone was following the two wolves since they knew where to go, Moonlight noticed how thicker the trees were than the ones back home, but it was new so she couldn't compare yet, but she made sure to stick with the two wolves. They come up from the brush as Moonlight stopped and went a little aways as she noticed how many wolves were there.

"So many wolves.." Moonlight murmured to herself, she was astonished on how many wolves there were, at first she only met part of the pack like the others, but now, she couldn't even count how many there were compared from nearly an hour or more ago.

Though the wolves with the stretcher on their back took Smoke to get some rest, and Moonlight caught the two wolves as she began galloping up to them as the two wolves heard Moonlight as they quickly got into the den that they picked out for Smoke, and Moonlight began helping them with Smoke as the mare quietly neighed before going onto the soft and lush giant leaves that were there under her side.

"Well at least your comfortable now." Moonlight told Smoke, though the stretcher wolves gently took their jaws around Moonlight's leg and led her out of the den as Smoke would have appreciated the quiet and stillness in her selected den.

Though as Moonlight was back into the open and big spaced pack, the alpha was seen in his cave but was portruding out because he was simply too large, so his front part of his body was seen, though the alpha didn't care and was just watching out for his pack and the group of horses he let in.

Though the rest of the netire pack that didn't know that there were horses on their Isle, looked at the rest of group as they watched Moonlight gallop up to the wolves that carried Smoke on a stretcher and picked a den for the mare to sleep in to be comfortable and not in pain.

"Alright let my pack pick out some dens for all you to bunk in, since your friend was taken to a "resting den", to rest up until needed. Or staying there to rest until its time to go." the alpha's voice boomed, though he managed to keep it down for Smoke but his voice was still considerably loud.

     Nysa gently helped Smoke get on the stretcher with Moonlight's help, but they managed to get her on there by the time Apollo came over. Though by the time they were leaving, Nysa was just walking in the back. She went at a slower pace than everyone else. She made sure there was only a small distance in between her and everyone else. She just needed a moment or two to herself, but she couldn't bring herself to go somewhere else alone. Not after what had just happened.

     Apollo looked back noticing Nysa slipping behind, but he just left her alone. He knew she was taking things a lot harder than everyone else, but he couldn't imagine how hard it was to watch her mother turn to stone the way she had. Apollo just sighed as he looked up once he realized they arrived at the wolves home. He looked at the others a little unsure of it, but what choice did they have? 

     Nysa stopped once they arrived as she looked up seeing Moonlight follow the wolves with Smoke before she looked around. Not a word from her, but she did walk back over to the group. Apollo looked at her a bit worriedly, but Nysa ignored it. Instead she just got a good look around the place before she spotted the alpha. Nysa then looked down at the same necklace her mother had given her when she was just a filly.

     Apollo sighed knowing what she was thinking, "Nysa..don't...not right now. I know you want to know who your mother was, but you need to rest. We all do. You've just been trying to hide your feelings by doing other things since we left home." he said before looking at the others and taking a quick second to glance at the alpha. "We all just need to get some rest alright?"

     Nysa pinned her ears a bit and snorted quietly, "This might be my only chance to learn something about my mother Apollo. What do you expect me to do? You know the secrets she hides. If I find out who she is and what she is hiding from me then it could help us!" she snapped before she looked down and took another deep breath or two. Apollo just went silent and walked away. Nysa ignored the others and just stood there for a moment.

     After a minute she slowly walked over to the alpha, "Umm..Alpha, sir.." she said a bit unsure of what to call him, "I-i wanted to talk to you about what you said earlier...about a mare.." she said as she used her magic to slowly remove her mother's necklace, "The necklace. Did it perhaps look like this?" she asked showing it to him. It was probably the first time she took it off since her mother gave it to her.

"Oh yes it was that necklace alright, we wolves might not look like we can remember something this detailed, but others are so dead wrong about that. We can remember anything from newborns to how we are, and to how we meet horses and reintroduce ourselves to befriend anyone." the alpha said, though he stopped once he realized that he was gonna ramble on and not realize it was Nysa's time to ask, but information is information after all, and can be useful to how you work in a situation.

"Now what are your questions? I can suspect that you have more questions then you can even think about, but I'll take a gander and try to answer to the best of my will, I probably even have more answers to your questions could ever be asked. But go ahead and ask them." the alpha told Nysa, he was a wolf and horses and wolves could feel emotions and also feel one another's emotions, so he knew that Nysa had many questions wandering around her head, and he wanted to help Nysa quench those questions.

Even though the alpha was nice, he was still pretty unsettling for his height, even though giant creatures can be reality, sometimes its a bit too much for a horse to handle, of course there's also Solstice's Statue that will protect anyone when Solstice or someone she knows is in danger..

But Moonlight was resting down on the grass since she preferred to rest there, so Raven looked around before grazing to how she felt since she wasn't tired yet, but she did have Esmeray come over. Everyone forgets a horse or two exists but everyone also forgets how Esmeray and his sister have horns just like their parents. Which isn't uncommon but something a horse or two also forgets about themself.. Or themselves really..

     Nysa didn't know what to think when the alpha said yes. She just brought the necklace back and looked at it for a moment saying nothing until she carefully put it back on. Nysa sighed as she looked down, "It was my mother's. The mare you described..it's her...my mother..." she said pausing for a moment, "Her name was Solstice...goddess of the moon. My father was named Orion.."

     Though Nysa just went quiet for a minute. She wasn't too sure on what to say really, but she just didn't know what it was she was looking for. "I've always had a lot of questions, but my mother would keep secrets from me...all but a few." she said glancing at the group for a moment. "When I was a filly...she told me about this necklace...that without it..she....I'm sure you already know that part."

     "But she never once wore this necklace after I was born..because it almost killed her.." she mumbled stopping herself. "I just..I just want to know who she is...what she's hiding. If there is anything that could help us get them back...everyone else was turned to stone immediately one by one...but the stallion made my mother suffer, and I could only watch..there was nothing any of us could have done.."

     Nysa just looked down going silent. "He took my cousin..." she said looking up at the alpha. "I just don't know what to do..without any of them. My herd..my family...I'm not even sure I can help Smoke.." Nysa sighed before she got back up on her hooves looking down, "I'll just go..I don't want to bother you by losing control of myself..it's been a long day.." she said. Apollo was with everyone else, but he kept a close eye on Nysa.

     "Hey guys...I think Nysa is taking things a lot harder than we are...I mean she did lose more then we did...and she had to watch her mother suffer...and Minette..." he said letting out a sigh, "She's pressuring herself..." he said a bit worried. Apollo was just laying down in the grass like Moonlight. He was used to it, and it made him more comfortable, but he was worried about Nysa and what would happen if she kept going like this..

"Wait. Did you say your mother, Solstice, was a moon goddess? That would mean your father must be a mortal than, hm, that would explain everything in the legend very well. That and, of course, she doesn't want to share secrets with you, she doesn't want to talk about the bad and the ugly side of what she had to go through to have you at the end." the alpha spoke aloud again, he knew about Nysa's mother's legend than..

"Your mother was chosen to be goddess because of your aunt, her name would be Eclipsetess, right? Then that would mean your aunt sacrificed her life so many times, being reborn, then turning into golden dust as it means that once you turn into a powder of golden dust, then you are forever dead. It's not the same with god's or goddesses, guardians also live an extra 1000 years then most horses." the alpha lectured, as he stood up and looked up at the sky's blue horizon as it was beginning to get dark, but it was now just empty constellations in the sky like before, but the alpha then looked down at Nysa, right in her eyes.

"If I was to say the bad stuff and exploit your mother, then you would understand how much pain she would be in to know that you knew her secrets from some source that allowed you to know about your mother more, and that she wouldn't understand how. Because she's protecting your life IF and EVER IF her enemy came back- even though he was wiped out long ago, than you'd understand her pain better than anyone else. That and also because her enemy has haunted her mind for so long. And you would be in sync with her about the same enemy your gonna face. A different enemy, but similar to your mother's enemy." the alpha didn't stop looking at Nysa, until he looked up at the sky, he didn't say anything about Solstice's enemy or anyone that could be her enemy, but he clearly defined evil to its heart and core, and evil that just wants everything to die and go extinct.

"Now run along if you don't have anymore questions, but I'm open and here to hear them out fully, so you don't have to go somewhere to find answers, because most of them are under your noses, or muzzles I should say sometimes.." the alpha told Nysa, he told her that he was there if Nysa needed anymore questions to be answered.

"But I do have one thing to say: You are like your mother aren't you? Than your a smart mare and figure out your own path to destiny, and that your legend is being written out right in front of you. You have your mother's spells down and that your aunt can replicate spells by just seeing them, abling her to teach more widely used magic and able to bend it to her will. How else do you think she blasted Atrium and helped Solstice blast Dra out of existence..?" the alpha asked Nysa, but how did he know everything that went downhill at the Isle of the Mountains..? That makes no sense.. Unless he was one of the creatures that attacked the Isle.

     Nysa just stood there for a moment before she looked up at the alpha, "Yes. She is..well..was the moon goddess." she said, "My father is indeed a mortal...making me a demigod. Though I believe they knew each other before she was a goddess." she said. Though she was confused about this..legend he mentioned, or even what he said after that. Well she always knew her mother was hiding something bad, but just how bad was it?

     Nysa was unsure about how the alpha knew so much about her mother let alone her family, but right now it didn't concern her. "Yes she is my aunt. Minette is her daughter." she said unsure with what Eclipsetess had to do with any of this. She knew she was her mom's guardian, but she didn't know much outside of that. At least until now. She knew Eclipsetess risked herself for Solstice, but what she didn't know was how much she risked.

     Though Nysa listened to him. She looked up at him noticing he was looking up at the darkening sky as she had done the same. As the night slowly rolled in, the faint stars in her blue markings slowly started to shine and twinkle. Though Nysa looked back at the alpha only to realize he was looking straight into her pupilless aqua colored eyes. Nysa just got a bit nervous unsure why he looked into her eyes the way he had.

     Nysa listened. She never thought about it like that. That her mother was protecting her this entire time...that she didn't want her daughter to be burdened by what she went through. To give her a better life. A happier life. Maybe it was that bad, but Nysa still didn't know who her mother was. Though she looked down a bit scared about what was to come with this stallion. Would they even be successful with getting their families and Minette back?

     She looked at the alpha and gave a small nod. Nysa was about to leave until the alpha stopped her. Nysa looked at him listening to what he had to say. "That's what everyone says..." she said letting him say the rest of what he had to say. Though Nysa looked at him with a confused look. She didn't even know about that...what was he talking about? There is was again...the name Dra. Nothing made any sense.

     Nysa just looked at the alpha for a moment before she turned away and walked over to the others. Now she was concerned. She just walked right past everyone and went to a spot to be alone. Nysa didn't go far, but she just stood there thinking. Eventually she started pacing back and forth. She wasn't sure whether or not to trust these wolves now. Whether or not to trust the alpha.

     Apollo was just resting until he looked up once he heard Nysa coming back over, but she paid no attention to anyone. Apollo thought that was odd, so he nudged Moonlight, "Something is wrong with Nysa..well now more than before..go see what's got her worried.." he said thinking it would be best if Moonlight was the one to talk to Nysa. "She went that way." he said looking in the direction Nysa went.

Moonlight nodded and had gotten up as she looked to where Apollo was looking in where Nysa was, but Moonlight sighed since she was worried as well, but she did walk over to Nysa and was worried but tried to be calm of why Nysa was pacing back and forth..

"Nysa? Can you tell me what's wrong? I mean- I know you wouldn't want to tell me.. But I just want to know why your pacing back and forth, its worrying me a little- more- a lot.. But I'll leave if you want me too." Moonlight asked Nysa, she tried being her calm self, like with how Eclipsetess always stayed calm no matter what type of situation she was in, she was always calm.

Raven was dozing off as she layed on her side, like Azulia of course, but she then awakened up and sat up a little bit as she looked around, still half asleep but she did get a good nap in but she did ask where Moonlight was and Nysa too. Esmeray looked in the direction where Moonlight and Nysa were.


Though it did sound like a good night was rolling into the forest, but the alpha had his beta start ringing a bell, and even the alpha began saying that a snow blizzard was coming, which he also said that the blizzard can't get into where everyone was due to the trees being in a round circle, and that the snow was being forced out by a barrier as well.

"Hm, well at least we're safe." Raven spoke up, she was right, everyone was safe in the forest and the pack, practically both in reality actually, but Marrow was sleeping as Blizzard and her curled for the moment.

     Nysa was just thinking and mumbling things quietly to herself as she paced back and forth. She was now more confused than she was before. Could she even trust the alpha? There was something off about him that Nysa felt since she heard the last thing he had said to her. After a few minutes Nysa just summoned the spell book again and started to quickly flip through the pages in search of one in particular..

     Though Nysa was a bit startled once she heard Moonlight speak. She was too caught up in her thoughts to even realize she was there. "Oh..Moonlight.." she said relieved it was only her. Though she was startled enough that the spell book dropped to the ground opened to a page about her mother.. Nysa just sighed as she picked up the book and made sure it wasn't damaged before putting it away before she looked at Moonlight.

     "After what the alpha said when we first met him...I had to know whether or not the mare he spoke of was my mother...turns out it was. Descendant of a mare and wolf.." she said, "Though the more he talked...it just got a bit weird...like he knows everything about my family. About my mother. About my aunt." she said, "He even mentioned the name Dra...I've heard my mother mention that name only a few times.." she said looking at Moonlight.

     "I don't think we can trust him...he knows everything about my family, and yet this Isle wasn't even here when I was born. I'm the youngest. Wolves weren't around until Nature brought them back on this Isle, so then how does he know everything?" she asked worriedly. "I still don't know who this Dragon Devil is...or.." Nysa paused as she thought of something.

     "What if Dra...is short for Dragon Devil? What if it's the same horse?" she said before she started to pace again, "He mentioned another name, but I never heard of it before. There was something that happened on the Isle of Mountains..something I feel like I should remember but I don't...probably because I was too young to remember..something that I should remember.." she said starting to ramble on forgetting Moonlight was there for a minute.

     Though Nysa just needed to stop. She couldn't keep going like this. She couldn't keep distracting herself like she was to hide her pain. It wasn't good for her, and it was clearly taking a toll on her. What she needed was to just stop and rest, but at the time she just couldn't stop herself. Nysa was too focused on trying to figure some things out that she didn't even notice how exhausted she was.

     Apollo watched Moonlight before he hesitantly laid his head back down. He closed his eyes, but he couldn't sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about his mom, but there was no way he could have saved her. Either way Apollo just got at least some rest even if he couldn't sleep. Though he opened his eyes and looked at Raven, "There's something wrong with Nysa..I asked Moonlight to talk to her.." he said in a worried tone before he looked at the alpha.

     "She seemed worse than before she talked to him.." he said in a quieter tone before he looked over in the direction Nysa and Moonlight were, "Just hope they get back before anything happens..." he said letting out a small sigh as he slowly laid his head back down. "We'll figure something out in the morning.." he mumbled as he curled up and closed his eyes again as his wings were spread out slightly.

"Nysa, everyone knows things that you don't even know that is there, or was even real, and Scorn knows more than one thing about wolves.. Aunt Azulia told me once that Scorn used to be here even before a war broke out, and the same horse that you think is the same horse.." Moonlight stopped talking as she wanted to get the rest of the sentence in right, and before she continues talking, which is just picking words to talk from.

"Its true, I actually went behind my mother's back and stole a book from Eclipsetess when she dozed off once, it was just a plain copy that doesn't have anymore new pages on it. But I looked to see who knew Scorn, of course as I found out that many horses actually didn't like him a foal. But changed minds about him later on.." Moonlight than realized that she went off topic and just found herself to be dumb to have done that.

"And Dragon Devil was the most evilest horse that lived, before dying once and before killed off again, it was said in the book that the Isles we don't know today were drowned because of him, making Nature reincarnate the wolves back before they all died from the water. And that's why they know so much, because their ancestor was tied to your family, even Trickster nowadays has a wolf form.. Some part of the male wolf has to be in you, and maybe the reason why your family has always worn necklaces! Well besides his mate, who was also the one who first birthed their children and then grandchildren and yeah.. Everyone says you can't have a family line without surprises!" Moonlight said, she did pull the book out of thin air before looking around and at herself.

"And everyone was glad that you couldn't remember, because when you were just a few hours old, or a day old as I should say, there was something that went horribly wrong and the reason why the guards around us did get more active.. They were preparing for some evil creatures to arise from the dead. Dra.. He was nice but he was still evil.. Even a mare came back from the dead, her name was Atrium as she challenged Eclipsetess.." Moonlight said, she felt like crying but she only looked down and away.

"If aunt Eclipsetess lost the battle, then she was banished from the Isle, her herd, her family, your mother Nysa.. It was a horrible time after you were born, and then the herd was forced to move around with creatures as black as the void! Things that were meant to stay in the underworld or realm really. Its where Hades stayed." Moonlight continued, she read everything from a book? Eclipsetess must've updated the book then if she did something like years ago. But Moonlight did forget that she had a book next to her.

     Nysa just kept pacing back and forth again, but at a slower pace, "I'm the youngest. I'll always be the youngest..I know you all know something that I don't know...someone is always hiding the truth from me.." she said, but she was right. "I'm not a filly anymore." she mumbled seeming to get a little mad, but she just couldn't control herself anymore. She couldn't control how she felt, what she said, what she did. 

     She was just struggling with the loss of everyone. It was just hardest for her losing her mother. Watching her struggle the way she had. Watching the moment Solstice accepted the defeat as Nysa could see it in her eyes. The sound of defeat in her voice as she said her last words. It broke Nysa. It broke her in so many ways. Then losing Minette only minutes later. Nysa was lost without her...she was lost without any of her family..

     Though Nysa stopped and stood there when Moonlight mentioned Dragon Devil. Nysa looked down, "She fought him..didn't she?" she mumbled quietly enough Moonlight probably didn't hear her. Nysa didn't really want to know the answer. Well no. She wanted to, but she was scared to know. The alpha did have a point. How would Solstice react if Nysa knew everything after keeping the truth from her for years to protect her?

     Nysa sighed, "My mom depends on that necklace...it keeps her alive..I'm not so sure how it was with my grandma, but as far as I know I'm not affected by it. I wear this necklace because my mom gave it to me...it's been in the family for generations..." she said looking at it before she looked at Moonlight. "I just wish things were different.." she mumbled. Why were they kept alive? What were they going to do?

     Though Nysa snorted, "Of course they were happy. Nobody wants me to know anything." she said pinning her ears some. "It's not fair to me. I deserve to know. I don't deserve all these secrets." she said as her tone got a bit rude, but once she realized it, Nysa went quiet. Though she perked up when Moonlight mentioned a mare, "That was the other name the alpha said.." 

     Nysa just looked down and sighed. She didn't know what else to say, but she didn't really have anything to say. Though she looked up at the dark sky. She hadn't noticed it got dark, but she couldn't look at the night sky long..it pained her too much. Though she looked down and started walking away back to the others, "Best we get back..." she said a bit quietly looking at Moonlight for a moment before she kept walking.

"Nysa.. Your mother was a hero for defeating Dragon Devil the first time, but it was nearly an accident with a powerful spell, but the second time.. She made sure to wipe him out for good, so that he wouldn't go after you. Not how like he did it with taking Eclipsetess.." Moonlight turned around as she watched Nysa walk on ahead.

"Eclipsetess told Azulia that your grandma was just like your mother, then Azulia told my mother, and my mother had to tell me since I didn't stop bugging her, it was rather important, but your grandmother and father.. I think.. Were trying to find a cure for your mother, but I could tell by Azulia's voice that she researched about them, and that Dragon Devil might have ended your grandparents life before you even got to have a chance.." Moonlight paused before going on with how much she reasearched, Moonlight was more Azulia then Trickster.

"But don't you know how hard it is for me as well to know about this burden..? Living with secrets that help protect you better? Helping out even when everyone forgets eventually..? But I can just tell that Dra still haunts your mother, I can tell by her body language and her eyes- if I get a chance to get a good look at them.." Moonlight kept talking, even though it was depressing for Moonlight to help out with the burden being lifted off every horses shoulder, just so that she can put more weight on her own for others sake.

"I suppose we should sleep by now.. Come on.." Moonlight said, her voice went from worried and calm at first, then turning emotionless and fruitless of her words, like everything she said went onto Nysa's shoulders even though that wasn't trua and Moonlight still kept up the other burdens, just by how she slumped her shoulders after she walked past Nysa.


Though as Moonlight looked at Nysa, in those same aqua eyes, just like the alpha before.. But Moonlight's eyes were emotionless, and contained no vitrue of springing life every popping into her eyes, like she already messed up and expected the worst to happen..

Raven noticed Moonlight with her slumped shoulders, and her head hung low, and her ears pinned for a split second, before popping up and looking in the direction where Smoke was sleeping, then Moonlight began running as quick as she had setted off, which she wasn't quick to instantly running actually..

Raven also saw that Moonlight had no visible happiness in her eyes, but Raven could tell that everyone else noticed how Moonlight acted strange before setting off to see how Smoke was doing, but Raven put her head down and began sleeping really.

     Nysa just stopped without saying a word. Her head lowered. Everything about her had changed. She was almost unrecognizable. She was normally always smiling, laughing even. Always curious..always happy. Just like Solstice wanted her to be, but now...not a single smile or laugh came from her. She was mainly dull..sometimes even angry. Guess it was just her way of grieving...or her way of hiding her grief.

     Though she slowly looked back at Moonlight, "So that's why there's a statue of her. Guess that mystery is solved.." she said. Normally during the night, the two white moons on her body glowed, but this time they didn't. Not the one that wrapped around her horn or the one on her flank. Like it was affected by her emotions. At that point Nysa barely even said anything.

     Instead she listened. Though her ears lowered when she mentioned her grandparents, "I may not know any of my grandparents, but I at least know what happened to them...I've heard my mother and my uncle talk about them one day.." she said pausing for a moment, "Guess my family is just meant to suffer.." she muttered before she slowly started to walk back again.

     Until she stopped a second time. "You don't think I see the pain in my own mother's eyes? I knew that she suffered. I knew there was something keeping her up some nights other than the moon. The way she can be distant sometimes. Whenever I saw her like that as a filly I wanted to help her, but I couldn't. She never told me what was wrong. Even today I want to help her, but I still can't." she said with a snap at first, but then her voice was the dullest it had ever been.

     Though Nysa didn't say anything else as they walked back. Nysa didn't pay much attention to the others when they got back. She just laid down a few feet from them for a little bit of privacy. She just didn't want to be alone fully. Apollo looked at her and Moonlight, but didn't dare to say anything. Instead he just went back to sleep since he managed to after a while. Well now he had to try falling asleep again.

     Nysa just looked at everyone for a moment before she curled up facing away from them. She slowly closed her eyes, and her exhaustion had taken over from there letting her sleep..even if she didn't want to. Maybe she'd feel better in the morning after getting some sleep..or even time to process everything. Not just with everything she learned about her mother, but also with what happened. She needed to accept it so she could focus on what was next and what was to come..

As day-break had broken the sky, some wolves were looking at the group of horses that were curled up, though the wolves backed away when Raven had gotten up and realized that she was put into a den, her own furbished den that was like it was customly made for her alone.

Though as the mare yawned and walked outside, she looked where to see her group still laying on the grass or at least grazing, but no one was there, just emptiness really. So Raven assumed that the wolves grouped up and brought everyone into different dens rather than sleeping on the grass.

But Esmeray had gotten up and poked his head out as Raven looked at him, the two were confused but now it was clear that the wolves really did move everyone into a row of dens next to each other, but as Moonlight had gotten up and looked around as she said nothing in her room..

But she did notice that a wolf decided to bunk with her in her sleep, as the wolf got up and smiled as Moonlight did the same and even nuzzled the creature with its also soft and delicate pelt, like a blanket in complete softness.. But the wolf ended up walking out of the den as Moonlight followed behind before shortly grouping up with Raven and Esmeray.

"So.. We were moved from our comfortable spots, so sleeping in custom dens huh?" Moonlight asked, she already knew but the same wolf stood next to her and continued to stay next to her, Moonlight was the wolf's bunkmate or bunk roommate. Either word fits perfectly.

"Yeah.. I don't know about the others though.. They should wake up shortly after they found out that they were moved." Raven said, though Marrow and Blizzard came out the same time that they came out of theirs dens, even Silhouette and Roulette were in different rooms, I mean you can't really put two stallions together anyways.

But the twins did walk over to join the rest of the group, but Moonlight's wolf roommate decided to jump up on Moonlight's back and take a nap as standing ain't what wolves do sometimes, unless they hunt, then of course yes. But Moonlight only shook her head before listening to what she was hearing in the conversation that had started..
