[ADDED] *Show Deluxe Boarding Stables Only

I searched for a boarding stable. 
Here are my first 30 stables from the search:

Only bolded names are still deluxe members. The strikethrough names are no longer deluxe members. Based on my first 30 stables from my search, only 50% of those stables are still owned by a deluxe member. The list of boarding stables is randomized every time so the list is different every time I searched. Sometimes, I got worse luck and the list will show me 80% of non-deluxe stables. They are not deluxe members anymore so why are their stables still appearing when we can't board/train/ride school with them. 

My suggestion is that we remove all former deluxe members from the boarding search and only show stables that are owned by deluxe players only.

It is supposed to show all stables created in game, just like a member search shows all active/inactive accounts. What if you could only remember the stable name and not the owner?

Would prefer a checkbox option to "show all stables" and have the default search show active stables only vs removing the non-deluxe from the search all together. 

I agree with Maple. If a player runs of out deluxe, and ends up getting more, their stable is then active again. So instead of just removing all unactive stables, then add a box you can check or uncheck to show only active stables or both unactive and active. 

@ Maple, that doesn't make sense? I don't have a stable name, basic members aren't allowed to have a stable name. When I click on Stable, it takes me to the "oops page" so why will players need to remember stable names for basic members when they are not allowed to have a stable. They are now considered a basic member, therefore, they do not have a stable now.

@ Horsegirl, if a member runs out deluxe, then it will be taken down since they are now considered a basic member. Basic members cannot own stables. If they renew their deluxe membership, then they are now considered a deluxe member, then they now can own stable and will appear in the stable search. Their stable information is already saved if they decided to renew but it shouldn't be visible to the public since they are now a basic member, not a deluxe member.

Active/Not Active = I do not consider a Basic Member "not active". We are perfectly active, we just can't own stables like deluxe. A deluxe or basic member that hasn't progressed their account for over a month should be considered not active. Any members (deluxe and basic) that progressed their account within a month should be considered active.

I think you are misunderstanding. I am agreeing that the search should only contain active stables, aka those with deluxe. But all stables (read: previously deluxe) should remain searchable. The member search was just a comparison. 

Like I said, some players may remember a stable name but not a player name, this search can still provide another way to find members you may have wanted to get in contact with as their name will show up in the search list alongside that inactive stable. 

I agree with Maple. I think your misunderstanding what we are trying to say. We are both very aware that basic members cannot own a stable, but they can search for one. When searching for a stable, it would be nice to add a check box that you can click on to only show active stables. EV can't really just remove all unactive stables.

Stable search is a search for ALL stables like Horse search shows all horses regardless of if they're locked(with the flip of the dropdown) and all members regardless of activity status. Stable search should operate the same way, with the ability to look up any stable whether it's active or not. 
However like the other ticks that are added at the bottom to make searching for a stable to board at easier I think it would be prudent to have one to "show currently inactive stables" to keep the functionality as intended but make a QoL tweak for those needing active stables. I actually had thought it was added with those! 

The problem is not if they are inactive, locked, or whatever. Yes, I do support that we should be able to filter active and inactive stables owned by Deluxe members. Someone else already made the suggestion about it.

My suggestion is not about stables owned by Deluxe members but the stables owned by basic players.

All strikethrough stables are owned by Basic players (both inactive and active). If you click on any of those strikethrough stables, it literally stated: "This member is not a Deluxe member - their stables no longer exist." 
Those stables shouldn't be existing in the first place. However, they are still existing and appear in the search when they are supposed to not exist. Some of them even still have horses boarded there.

They shouldn't be searchable in the first place. Those stables do not exist anymore. I am a basic player and I do not have any stables. I can't even name my own stable and you can't even search for my stable because it does not exist. It's a deluxe perk. Those members elected to not renew their deluxe membership, therefore, they lose that perk. Hence, their stables no longer exist and should be unsearchable. There's no reason to search for a stable that no longer exists.

Yes but what I'm saying at least is that those stables still DO exist. They no longer have a deluxe at that time, but they are still there and will become a useable stable again as soon as the member re-upgrades their account. Perhaps the list should sensor them with italics or a scratch out, but it is still useful to see a search so you can find out what happened to those stables if for example your horse was suddenly kicked an you don't know why, or you want to look up if a stable name is already in use.

I would support a tickmark box to filter out "inactive" stables, and a denotation or additional tickmark for "currently not in use" or "currently basic".

maybe changing the text from saying the stable doesn't exist to saying it's inactive might be good? like if the stable still exists it probably shouldn't be saying otherwise lol.

i'd actually like it if the search filters out inactive stables/players by default. the horse search defaults to excluding inactive players and locked horses since players usually aren't looking for those. i don't think players are typically looking for inactive stables and inactive deluxes when using the stable search.

Thank you for making that clarification bubbles! that's what I meant by filtering by inactive, should have been "show inactive" like all the other stable options, "show private" and "show full" so the most common reason for searching is fulfilled first(boarding space). 

Also an excellent idea on changing the text, I think that may be part of the confusion here (which I didn't notice the text at the bottom in the first place since I just saw the oops text, which you get anywhere there's a link error for the most part xD guess I should pay more attention to my oops messages when I come across them in beta!).

Are horses supposed to be kicked out when a stable turns into basic? As I mentioned earlier, several of those strikethrough stables still have several horses boarded with them. Is it a bug?

For a second I thought I had made it all up from previous versions of the game(used to be everything was booted), turns out I was half right for this version. From help: "Any horses boarded in your stables will continue to be stabled until their paid boarding runs out. Your own horses will automatically be removed."
So if you're paid up you don't get removed until your board runs out, but you'd no longer be able to pay though I believe, or if it allows that money just goes to limbo until the person re-upgrades their account. If you are not paid though you'd get removed.
