Grade horse strategy?

I'm curious about how you guys are going to breed grade horses.

Are you going to breed very specific crosses, mimicking real life recognizes crossbreeds? 

Are you going to breed random breeds together to get low NSS horses?

Are you just going to have fun with it and experiment to see what colors you can get?


I'm thinking about breeding for recognized crosses like drum horse ( clyde x GV) or friesian sport horses (DWB x friesian) but I'm also wondering if these recognized crossbreeds will be added to the game later on. 

What are you going to do? 

Lol I'm going to breed random breeds, at least for now, and see what kind of color combos I can get. Cant wait till my grade foals are 2! 

i’m going to do thoroughbreds x quarter horses for realism but aim for low nss and color(: 

right now, Im just having fun with it.. with a focus of breeding the sooty gene into my Appy coat patterns..

However, in terms of crossbreeding for a specific breed I have decided to breed Nez Perce horses!! woot woot.. Appys x Akhal Teks!! Can't imagine myself not breeding Nez Perce horses lol... ( being a crazy appaloosa lady) lol..

Therefore.. I am in need of any teks you folks may have that you're lookin to sell or offer up for breeding.. Ideally western disciplined! lolol..

tbh i hadnt even considered doing summ like this, but now owo

If Pure Crossbreeds will be introduced, then I am going to breed for Drum Horses and Gypsians. For now, I am going to focus on GV, Clydesdales, and Friesians. It bothers me that the grade horse artwork doesn't have feathered legs and doesn't look like a draft horse so I don't think I can just go ahead and cross them now. I think it will drive me nuts knowing that the artwork doesn't match what Drum Horse and Gypsians are supposed to look like.

i'm thinking of starting off with western pintaloosas just to go crazy with colors and patterns lol. then later try out morabs though i'm not sure what discipline(s) yet... i kind of want to stick with breeds similar to the artwork for now.

I'll figure out something as I get back into playing. 

I'm breeding Appaloosas and Paint horses to try and get as many pretty colors as I can. Not sure yet if I'll expand to breed others, just trying to experiment and see how this first lot of foals turn out. 

I'm working on Hispano-Arabes! I just got my first foundation horses bred, so I'm excited to see where that goes.

Think I'm going to create my own "sim" breed. Not sure exactly what yet, but yeah.

I am going for welara ponies, warlanders and hispano arabes 

For the time being, I'll stick to my pure breeds (and offering breeding for others), but the art and infinity of possibilities are just too tempting. I'm thinking about Knabstruppers and Nez Perce horses, so something with spots, but haven't decided yet.

Haven't really thought about it but windspun's idea is appealing and was wondering about ponies and what could be done with them.  In the middle of trying to consolidate old accounts so it may be awhile before venturing into this cauldron of infinite possibilities.  Did have a go with Akhal Teke & Quarter for NSS as last breed for mare.

Heya, Newer player here. What does Low NSS mean? 
Besides my little question, When I reach the level to breed I would want to breed randoms for color, just to see if I can get anything extraordinary. Whilst also having a decently good confo ^^
