Help? (tags)

This feels like such a dumb question... but how do I get a Stash link to actually work for my tag? Or do I need to host the image somewhere else? It keeps just showing a "Member Tag" icon. 

I thought I'd used a Stash link before, but evidently not.

I always used imgur

It may have difficulty identifying the image if it isn't a direct link to only an image, not a page

I've always used wix or imgfly

if it's not an issue with Stash itself, then maybe as Reign said the link could be going to the image's webpage and not the image itself? like, to use my current tag i would have to use https://i.imgur.com/yYGg8Fu.png which is a direct link to the image. but if i use https://i.imgur.com/yYGg8Fu that's just linking to a page and it doesn't work as a tag. i'm not sure how links work on Stash though so maybe it's a different problem.

Links from Sta.sh and dA (and other wix based sites) are too long for the game to read for tags and signatures. You'll need to use a different host that provides shorter links, imgur is a popular one. 

I’ve converted my long Sta.sh links into TinyURL’s on their website. The links don’t expire and have been working without issues for me.
