I wish I had kept track of how much water I've drank in the past two days being sick :(
I'm going a little crazy not being able to go to the gym though, ahh so hard.

I'm going to make my introduction now.

I am back (and we'll see how long it lasts). Since I started college a few years back I've been eating at my school's all-you-can-eat cafeteria. It's become a nightmare. Each semester I typically gain 10 pounds, especially from the all-you-can-eat dessert. I am a sweet tooth that loveeessss sugar. I am trying to change that to love the sweetness of fruit (to start substituting that for cookies, lemon bars, etc). I'm also lactose intolerant which can make eating a more challenging endeavor. At least this has helped me to not even be interested in ice cream anymore (I even consider it too sweet for me now!). I don't like exercising in front of other people as it makes me feel like they are staring and judging me, so I haven't exercised in all my time in college. I am incredibly weak and got many joint issues now (very unfortunate). Finally I have come to realize that when I am depressed or stressed out I go to food to make myself feel better. It's not good!

My mom is getting me a workout program for graduation that is very low impact so that I can start strengthening my joints and muscles so that I can do more high-impact stuff again. I am also going to start a program called 21-day fit, which uses colored containers to help moderate portions. My mom has also been doing this program and I've seen her change so I am hopeful that I'll notice a difference too.

My stats are as follows:
Height: 5' 3"
Highest Weight: 152 pounds
Current Weight: 143 pounds
Goal Weight: 125-130 pounds (depends on muscle weight)

Guys, I'm on roll today! I've gotten in TWO workouts today. I did leg day this morning and then this afternoon I went back and did an hour on the elliptical. According to said Fitbit, I've taken 15,000+ steps, gone 7 miles, and burned right around 2,000 calories. Not to mention I'm on my 8th cup of water.

Woot! I love ending the week strong!

I'm going to make a conservative guess and say I probably had 10 cups over the weekend.

Sorry, guys. I didn't keep track of anything this past week. But I did manage to lose another 2.8lbs. Woot! Here's hoping that after my surgery on Friday, things will settle down and I'll be able to focus a bit better. ^_^

Hmmm can I have some help getting motivated to eat healthier? Exercise more? I have a sweet tooth, and after school I like to snack on junk foods. I know for a fact that I do not drink anywhere near enough water, either.
I am 17 year old, female, 5'7" and weigh around 130ish. No gym classes at school, run cross country in fall. On my own I work horses about 5 times a week, varying. Sometimes one horse, sometimes two, sometimes three lol. Usually work horse(s) from 2-5 hours total (longer amount during weekend when I can ride multiple horses). Other then that, not much lol. I work on a farm during the summer, difficult work at times. What can I do? I want to become more sculpted, not exactly muscles.

Roanwatch I am cutting pop out of my diet and eating more fruits. I'm finding that the more I'm able to control what I'm NOT eating (pop, processed sugar) the easier it becomes to control what I am eating. I try to drink sweet tea or lemonade, gatorade or Propel, etc. over pop and I eat peanut butter and apples, oranges (Halos), avocados all that instead of chips or desserts. It's helping move my cravings to better foods. I'm not on any type of diet so then when I REALLY want a food or beverage I know I don't need, I feel less bad. Reward yourself sometimes, you're doing okay! Also while I'm still having to force myself to drink water, it's easier to make it an option as I eat better.

Check Pinterest for exercise ideas, that's what I'm doing!

Also got about 7.5 cups!
