#211815 Posted on 2019-10-25 20:36:47 I have been working two jobs for about 6 months now, my days are usually 16 hours long. I get up at 3am, have an hour or so to come home between jobs and let my dogs out, then go back to work until at about 6. It's been fine, but it's starting to get tiring and I never see my husband. So I started applying for other jobs, and had an interview yesterday that went great, they told me they would be calling for second interviews with the company owner in the next two weeks. That job I would really like, as I am already in that field and use the same software that they use. The hours are good, and it's only a 20 minute drive. Back in March, I interviewed for a position at a rehabilitation center. That is something I am interested in, as my father was bad into drugs and alcohol and I had a really rough childhood because of it. Well I didn't get that job. But, earlier this week I saw a posting for them for the same position but a different location. I applied, and got a call a couple hours later for an interview. They where great and worked with my crazy days, so I have another interview there between jobs on Monday. So cross your fingers and toes one of them is offered to me, because I would really like normal hour days and to see my husband more than 5 minutes a night! 4 members like this post. It would be extremely difficult for me to work so much to the extent of hardly seeing my husband. shudders That must be awful!
