Cherry
"Walt's my younger brother," Cherry replied, ducking into the kitchen. "We're from a town near Salisbury." She took in the kitchen - it was a homey, lived-in place.

Outlaw
She watched the girl catch her horse, then slid off Phantom and walked over to the broken saddle, picking it up and inspecting it. "Should be able to fix that" she mumbled to Phantom as the big black walked over and stood with her head over her shoulder, watching Outlaw trace the damage gently with her burnt fingers.

Edelweiss
She looked up from the plate she was stacking cookies on to glance at the lady. "Isn't Salisbury in England?" She asked with interest. "I'm sure that's where Outlaw said it was anyways." She added thoughtfully. She glanced up at the young man who was standing off to the side watching her as she placed the cookies on the table and went to check the coffee. "Why don't you help yourself Johnny? The coffee will be done shortly here." She told him with a smile.

Cherry
"Aye," Cherry replied. "Across the pond. We've been in America for two months." Walt sat at the kitchen table and sampled a cookie. "These are amazing," he said with his mouth full.

Johnny
"Oh, uh, thank you." He picked up a cookie and took a bite. "Why would ya wanna leave England to come here? Uh, no offense to the American peoples, of course," he said the last part a bit rushed. "Isn't England a good place? I don't think I got your name, by the way."

Edelweiss
She smiled at Walt as she brought the coffee pot and tin cups to the table and set them down a well. "Glad you like them." She replied cheerfully. She glanced up as another man came in, pausing to remove his hat and put it on the hooks on the wall for that exact purpose. "Sandy" he introduced himself quietly to her as he noticed her watching him. He sat down at the far end of the large table, away from the others, after taking a cookie and cup of coffee.

Cherry 
"Cherry," Cherry said. "We came to see what's here, look for a new adventure. Not much left for me in England, at least."

Johnny
"Oh." He swirled the coffee in his cup a bit and looked over the people at the table. He didn't really know what to think about most of them. Edelweiss seemed fine enough, and seeing as she was close with Outlaw, he could probably trust her. Sandy seemed... cold. Cherry and Walt seemed nice, not like how George described the British to be at all. They could be acting, of course, but Johnny didn't think they were.

Edelweiss
She listened to the conversation around her as she put a kettle of water on the stove and began heating it to be used to wash the dishes after. She glanced out the window from the kitchen frequently, checking for Outlaw. She'd need to convince Outlaw to let her tend to her burns yet. She shook her slightly thinking of her mentor's stubbornness, then went and rechecked the water on the stove.

Sandy
He watched a moment as the girl moved around the kitchen confidently, at the same time listening to the conversation. He turned his eyes to the window, waiting for the foreman to return. From what he'd seen of the tall, thin foreman she wouldn't waste anytime in retaliation for the burned barn, and he wanted in on her plans, he had hired onto the Lightning Bar, and now considered the burned barn a personal affront. What he didn't know was when the foreman would wage retaliation, she had given no clues in her behaviour or words after the fire

Cherry
Cherry, in the lull of conversation, wasted no time in getting acquainted to the kitchen. Compared to the one in the small home she and Paul had lived in, this kitchen was significantly larger and seemed to be made to accommodate a decent amount of guests. Supplies were well stocked, and all the shelves and cupboards were neatly organized. Cherry was impressed, especially since it seemed that the young girl was the sole member of the kitchen staff. 

Johnny
Johnny took a sip of coffee and fiddle with another cookie. He wasn't too great with conversation, but he might as well try. Out of the teo other men still at the table, Walt seemed the most approachable so Johnny decided to address him first. "So... how's it been so far? No trouble, I hope."

Walt
Walt chuckled. "No, not any trouble. At least, nothing she didn't cause," he said, jerking his head at Cherry, who shrugged good-naturedly. "What can I say?" his sister replied. "Some of you Americans have no manners." 

Johnny
"Oh. Okay." He sat silently for a moment. "Why are you here? I mean," he said trying not to sound rude, "at this ranch, in uh... rather than another place." Johnny mental slapped himself at his 'amazing' use of words and grammar.

Walt 
Walt shrugged. "Need a job, and here seemed better than the other places we've stopped at. Thought we'd stay here for awhile."

Kitty
Kitty frowned when she saw the damage on the saddle closer up. "I sure hope so; it's the only one I own." Watching Outlaw's hand trace over the damage, she saw through the soot on her fingers to some pretty bad burns. "You should probably get those treated," she offered, gesturing towards the wounds.

"I'll give ya money to get it fixed at the tack shop, and let you borrow one of ours in the meantime." She told the girl, swinging back onto Phantom while holding the saddle. "Will your mare get you back to town or do you want me to catch up one of them for you?" She added, nodding at the group of horses milling about. "Assuming you want to get back to town that is." She added, smoothly avoiding further conversation concerning her hands.
