Should I Change My Name?

Hii all!


..Well, the title is self explanatory.   I've recently come back to the game with new found vigor! Kind of.  I'm trying to freshen my account up. 

Ever since I've come back, I've started to notice a lot of flaws in how I've played before. Horses I've picked, faulty breeding programs that just left me with an abundance of undesired foals, yeah. (See last paragraph)

And upon clearing out some horses, and trying to rethink and organize what I breed for, something else occurred. My name...I kind of hate it.  When I first joined, I was "Black Orchid Stables", A.K.A my initials before each horse's name. And changed to the now Botania. My reasoning? I've always liked flowers, flowery things. Greenery in general. I still do, but now the name just feels like it doesn't suit anymore. Sooo, I need some help finding a new one. :c Needing some fresh eyes, outside ideas. 

I'm beginning to like western riding, and generally more mountainous, country style. Moving to Montana has awakened this! c:  Perhaps something still to do with greenery, but the flora native to MT. Something rustic..I also happen to like 'estate/s' in the name. c; Not opposed to single word names, like Botania..just not that. xD Preferring some thing along the lines of "So-and-So Estate", "Something Hill", ya know.

(Side note, I'm looking for someone to assist the management of my account. An experienced player to show the efficient ways of playing, 'cause, well, I know none. And potentially help with horse pairings. If I realize there's a decent amount of time spent, I'll be glad to give a negotiated pay. c: )

Ekalaka Hills Estate 

The Ekalaka Hills are one of the many mountain ranges in Montana.

BTW - I'd be willing to help you out with advice with your account, horses, etc. :) Not super busy anytime soon. :D

Hmm! Almost sounds Hawaiian. :o  Although I do like the geographical stand point (thanks! c; ), the name itself doesn't quite roll of the tongue how I like.

I am totally going through the same sort of thing. I'm not a fan of my name on here but have no idea what else would be suitable and same thing for my stable name. I wish I could help but yea, I'm in the same boat as you!

I’m in the same situation.
I used the first thing that popped into my brain when i picked my name.
Although sapphires are my favorite gems, i’m finding that it just doesn’t really suit me as a name.
I’m just not sure what name would be a good fit.

I don't have any specific ideas, but I think an important thing to consider is stable name vs. player name. I get that basic accounts can't have actual stables in the boarding and riding school sense, but we all give our "stables" names regardless of whether we're basic or deluxe. What I'm implying by this is that your "stable" name doesn't also have to be your username. Mine isn't.
Idk, just some food for thought. Often I see people switching back and forth between calling themselves their stable name vs. another name, and personally I've found that I prefer using a different, more... name-sounding (if that makes sense) name for myself and keeping my stable name for my stable. Personally I feel like it creates more of a sense of identity. But that's just me.

Aside from that, I really like your idea of Lodepole Lane Estates! whoops haha just noticed that you already changed it

I get that, and I thought that for a while. Hence "Botania", being somewhat 'name-y'. xD But, I'm a basic player, can't have a literal stable. Although I've always considered my account itself as stable in some ways. It houses horses. Eh?

I've changed it to Wild Rose for the time being..'cause I'm tired of looking at the old one. xD  Though I have ran into another problem.  I forgot there was only a certain number of characters you could use for your name..Found a lovely, perfect font, but there seems to be a space between each letter. And two for actual spaces. I was trying "Wild Rose Estate" but it cuts off the 'ate'. So, I'm left with Wild Rose Est....wild rose estimates. Ya, woo hoo. So now my options are very limted.

Perhaps "Lodgepole Estates" will work with the font..

turns out, it doesn't. hm.  

It works with this font    | Ｗｉｌｄ Ｒｏｓｅ Ｅｓｔａｔｅ | ?? But not  𝓦𝓲𝓵𝓭 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓮 Estate. so. ver disapoint.

Tried to mean it as "I get what you're saying, but still prefer the 'stable' name"..Guess I should've just said that then, eep.. xD
