Hello,

I am going to be setting up my very own New Member Incentive program for awhile. I will run this for as long as I can afford to.  So I have a few questions for ya'll

When someone joins as a new player, what player level do you feel is attainable by the end of the first 30 days with being active at least daily in some way?

Next, I need ideas for what would be best to put into this incentive package.  Here is what I have come up with so far

$100k EVD
4 sets 5/5 tack of choice
10 bags/bunch/crate treat of choice

The idea is that people will get this when they are truly starting to play the game, getting the hang of things, have stuck around actively for at least 1 month, I'm thinking they should need to be at a certain player level by the end of the first month in order to receive it? Or maybe you will need to have been here for 1 month minimum but you can't receive it until a certain player level, even if you don't reach that player level until you have been here 3 months.

All ideas and opinions on how to make this useful would be appreciated.

Please keep your negative comments to yourself, because I personally do not care to hear them.

I'd be willing to donate a pair of horses (if they're going with that breed) of quality foals to new players if they've proven that they take excellent care of their current horses! 😊

Y'all can attest to the quality of my babies!!!! 😍

From my experience, it's possible to get to level 7 within a month.
I'm almost at lvl8 and I didn't log in every day between signing up and today (I had 7-10 days break in between)

I could set up "adoptions" of characters where they can choose one character as part of their package. It won't spur their interest in the main game, but it would help the art community, and can be a fun incentive to be active in the forums. It also shows that EV is plain full of generous people. That in turn could cause them to stick around. I could also donate a background of their choice (from the store).

Unfortunately I'm not sure about the best player level. I don't remember at all how long it took to get to any of the milestones. I hope someone comes along who does remember!

According to my notes I was level 3-4 after a month without missing any days.

At the time I was focusing more on money, so I had 4-8 horses earning only 100 EXP from schooling and about 400+ total EXP being earned from training. Training only earned that much because I had a Na level rescue which brings in about 150-200 EXP per session. If I had been aiming to gain EXP it might have been way higher like as Lenka said above^

I guess it heavily depends on how many horses a player has plus how they utilize their horses. Since I had a low number of horses earning the least amount of EXP in school maybe level 3 is the lowest a player can have in one month?

Thanks for input so far everyone!

"donations" would be awesome but it would be super cool to just have a handful of currently active players willing to work together with the incentive "packages" such as art or nice foals or whatever!

I think I would like to do a few different packages for each person that signs up for this. So maybe after 2 weeks of active play, they can get some EVD, some tack, maybe some treats, then after 30 days they can get larger evd amount, maybe like 2 credits or a credit item...I'm just at the beginning stages of trying to put this together and I know it will take a lot of thought to try and figure out the best way to do this. All ideas are welcome and anyone who would want to participate and offer an incentive that would be AMAZING.

I like the idea that they get something after a short time and then something better after they've been here longer. I definitely plan to continue participating in this! I love helping newbies get settled into games.

Perhaps there could be a thread where each person's 'packages' are listed. Under a "Two Week Prizes" header, your name could be listed, Olympea, meaning that after they've been active for two weeks they can get your EVD or tack prizes. anyone else wanting to give prizes after two weeks of play would also be listed there. Under "One Month Prizes" my art package could be listed.

I may make simpler designs to be given out earlier after joining, and more complex ones after a longer period of time. If I had a One Month and a Two Week package, a One-Monther could claim a Two Week package instead of a One Month package if they so desired. They could have up to two Two Week prizes or a single One Month prize, since the Two Week prize would take the place of their One Month prize. Then if I have a Two Month prize as well, they could either get that, another Two Week prize, or another One Month prize. It could get complicated, but it would be up to me to ensure everyone is getting fair prizes. This way, everyone can choose their level of involvement and decide how complicated they're willing to let things get.

I think there should also be a check-in every month to ensure prize-givers are still active. This is also a chance to update packages (though of course this can be done at any time). Inactive players will have their names crossed out until a certain length of time has passed or they choose to be removed from the list completely. This will help newbies know what packages are available. It should be stated clearly that a crossed out package means it currently is unavailable. It should also be said in the thread that one can check a profile to see when that player has last been active.

Prize givers should also state how long they will take to send out their package. If they do not send it out within that time, the newbie should contact an organizer of the thread to report them as inactive. They in turn will PM the prize giver and tell them they will be listed as inactive if they don't give out the prize in X time. Prize givers can choose how they want to be contacted; e.g. on the thread or by PM. If a newbie PMs a prize giver and the giver does not deliver, the newbie must provide screenshot proof that they claimed a prize in order for the issue to be resolved.

Lastly, as well as prizes being organized by length of play-time, there should be a list in a separate post of prize givers. This will list all of their packages in one place, as well as their preferred contact method and any other relevant information (though this should be listed on the list organized by play-time as well).

Oh! One other thing. Every once in a while, perhaps we can have contests, such as the popular raise a foundation or breed the best foal. Anyone who joined in the last X weeks/months can join. The prize should be better than the packages.

I hope this sparked some ideas! I'm really excited to be a part of this.

I was thinking I may need to have people apply for the program, because if it gets too crazy I may not be able to sustain the program. I was thinking maybe accept 5 people at a time and the entire process could be like 3 months long.

Still putting a lot of thought into this and how to make it work and stay sustainable.

I don't really have any suggestions atm, but I'd love to be a mentor or a sponsor in this program! I can provide art or horses.

I'd be happy to contribute tack boxes and winner's circle backgrounds, I always have far too many of both. c:

This sounds amazing! :D

I'd love to sponsor with feed mix, treats, tack boxes, upgraded tack and EVD.
Just tell me what You need and I will run over to the General Store and the Tack Workshop and shop 'til I drop. :P

I would happily donate horses I would otherwise have to cull because they aren't useful to me. Let me know what I can do!

If you have any horses aged 3 plus I could take them to use for riding schools to earn money to use towards the incentives

At the moment I only have one that is a year old. The older ones were already culled, sadly.
