5th Equiversary!

Once again, and as usual, I have managed to miss my own Equiversary. I swear I do this every year. At this point it's practically tradition. :P So as of January 4th, I have been playing Equiverse (on and off, as life intervenes) for a grand total of 5 years! I've made a lot of achievements in that time, which I'm really proud of. This includes:

- My amazing gypsies, that I've been breeding since the very beginning. They are now amongst the highest statted gypsies in the game, some with over 2000 stats, and have a huge variety of gorgeous colours. I recently started breeding clydesdales as well, and love all my fluffy giants.

- My artwork, code, and layouts, many of which can still be seen floating about amongst various players, and it always delights me every time I stumble across one in use.

- The game tools I've created, such as the foal gene predictor, foal stat predictor, and layout generator. Even just my shade demo, which wasn't a game tool as such, but just a sort of code mock-up for a suggestion I posted a while back. I really enjoyed the challenge of creating all of these, especially the stat calculator, as that required some really extensive reverse engineering to figure out the breeding formula, and was a massive project that many people contributed to, with many test breedings between a huge number of horses. It took months to complete, but we all got there in the end! I adore just how much use you guys get out of these, and I'm really pleased they have managed to help just so many players. ♥

- I'm also proud of the game suggestions I've made that have eventually been implemented. Even the really tiny, minor ones that probably go unnoticed by most. I love this game, and I love seeing it grow, and it really warms my heart to know that I had a role in that, however small it may be. ♥


It's been an amazing half a decade, and I'm really looking forward to the next half. :D
