Never done this but love to try so i'll join in. I'll do this with Trakehner for the first 32, then DW, then Welshies since I'm so busy with school work and my sport.

I might do this with Chincoteagues! Hopefully if i get white ones or greys I will be able to breed it out! Though I will probably cube them till they hit training level 4 and then convert and show. Should be quite fun to see the results when they get bred.

Mine are now 6y old with stats ranging from 200 to 250.

Out of 12 horses I have 4 gray and one white. So almost 50% have an undesirable color.
I got one sorrel (Pp) so I hope he passes his color on.

Top conformation is 60.50%
Lowest conformation is 52.88%

A couple of them are close to hitting 100 show places

Highest non-specialty stats are 63, lowest are 48. About 50% of the horses have ns lower than 60, the others are 60 or slightly over.

My mustang with 53 non-specialty stats is currently doing the best, with 249 stats, 30 wins and 83 show placings.
My mustang with the lowest ns stats has 239 stats, 24 wins and 86 show placings.
My mustang with the highest ns stats has 206 stats, 13 wins and 56 placings.
My mustang with only 200 stats has 60 ns, 19 wins and 64 placings.

So having the lowest non specialty stats does not 100% guarantee the best show results, but there is a clear corelation.

This sounds like a lot of fun! I'm gonna use Morgans since I've been wanting to raise them anyway ♥

I have a herd of foundation appys (a few gens in now) but I might buy 5 mares and 5 stallions and keep them separate and add them into my main herd later. :)

I am going to give this a go with western morgans, but I need to wait until I have some more space on my account, haha.

If anyone is interested in adopting my no cull herd for flee (including their lvl  5 tack) feel free to let me know.
Due to unforseen circumstances I need to cut down my time online and I have way too much horses >.<

My Morgans just had their foals and last shows! I wanted to wait until after the 2nd gen was born so I could compare the foals as well.

1st gen foundies
•highest NSS: 74
•lowest NSS: 51
•highest overall stats: 911
•lowest overall stats: 812
•highest confo: 57.00
•lowest confo: 48.50
•gray horses: 1
•colors: 3 bay, 4 black, 1 chestnut
other: •all but one horse had 53+ confo
•3 horses had over 60 NSS, 5 had under 60

•most wins: 95
•least wins: 11
•most show placings: 138
•least show placings: 2 horses tied for 79  X  X

2nd gen foals
•highest NSS: 65
•lowest NSS: 56
•highest base stats: 286
•lowest base stats: 276
•highest confo: 55.55
•lowest confo: 53.21
•gray horses: 1
•colors: 2 bay, 2 black
other: •I used a valentine's thorn on my last mare to make sure she'd have a colt.

base vs birth stats
foal 1 base stats: 283 —> birth stats 464 (received 181)
foal 2 base stats: 276 —> birth stats 451 (received 175)
foal 3 base stats: 282 —> birth stats 461 (received 179)
foal 4 base stats: 286 —> birth stats 471 (received 185)

foal vs parent confo
foal 1 sire (48.50) x dam (53.50) = 54.06 (???)
foal 2 sire (57.00) x dam (53.13) = 55.55
foal 3 sire (54.50) x dam (53.50) = 53.21
foal 4 sire (55.63) x dam (55.75) = 53.57

I think this might show how the lower the NSS, the faster a horse earns stats. My lowest NSS horse finished a full grade above the rest of the herd and has 99 more overall stats than my highest NSS horse.

I also see how hard it is to breed for confo now XD
