Mason
 His attention was diverted from the others when the new kid arrived. Mason watched him walk to his seat in silence, catching a brief glimpse of his eyes, which appeared to be much darker than they should have been, though Mase couldn't be entirely sure. "What's your name?," he questioned.

Kahlen 
"Thanks." Kahlen glanced around, studying the people. New kid's parent is also unfamiliar. Gosh.

Auberon
Auberon nodded in reply, but didn't let go of her hand. He followed her gaze and looked between the two new kids.

Ezhno
Well, there goes going unnoticed. Without looking away from the surface of his desk, he answered, "Ezhno Tavor." By looking at him, you would assume he was shy (due to his lack of eye contact and tendency to drift to the back), but his confident reply contradicted that. It wasn't particularly loud, though, because he wasn't one to try and draw attention.

"Where do they keep coming from? It's like a never-ending stream of people. I don't appreciate it."

Auberon
"It's New York. What do you expect?" Auberon mumbled.

Kahlen 
"I honestly don't know."

Auberon
Auberon smiled and shook his head, intertwining their fingers carefully.

Kahlen 
"Speaking of people... Denver's got giraffes that I'm supposed to give to people we know... but would it be surprising if I said I'd do that over my dead body?"

Auberon
"Nope, not at all," Auberon replied. "But I would if you don't."

Kahlen 
"Great! I'm officially delegating that to you. Have fun." Kahlen smiled at him.

Auberon
"But you have to come with me," Auberon said.

Kahlen 
"Wait- what?" Kahlen sighed in mock irritation. "Fine.

Auberon
Auberon chuckled. "Payback for taking me from the tree. Don't worry you won't have to talk. Just stand there and glare at them."

Kahlen 
"One of the few talents I possess," Kahlen commented, checking the clock out of the corner of her eye. She was trying not to dwell too much on the fact that they were holding hands, which she was very much aware of, and it was making her feel strangely giddy, which was a new sensation. I feel like I could just start giggling randomly. What the heck is wrong with me?!
