NYC High School

So, it's the beginning of the school year. And you're in highschool. Weather it be your first or last year, or even in between, this school is strict and down to buisness. Welcome to NYC High School. (It's more fun than it sounds I promise you)

You may not kill off characters that are not your own without the other players approval

This is (obviously) a somewhat violent rp, but please do not do anything over the top violent

Kahlen
Kahlen didn't even bother to look in the mirror- she was well aware that her hair was an untamable force by now. Her aunt had breakfast ready and it smelled heavenly. "Good morning," Aunt Claire said as she said a plate across the counter. "I made your lunch- it's by the door." Kahlen glanced at said door, noting the rolled up newspaper resting next to her aunt on the counter.

Auberon
The day was still fairly warm- even though fall was coming quickly, summer wouldn't let go of its grasp on the world. Still, the autumn insisted on making the streets a bit colder, breathing its dull, sleepy breath on nature. Auberon walked aimlessly in the midst of it all, carrying his backpack as usual, and texting on his phone as he walked circles around a park. School was about to start, but he still had plenty of time to simply enjoy life. Or how much he could manage to enjoy what he claimed to be known as life.

Kahlen
Kahlen breathed a sigh of relief when she wasn't whacked with the newspaper on her way out the door. Denver was already gone, over to his med school program, which was just fine with her. Leave the medical stuff to him, and she'd take care of the rest. The sun was already up, which was a comforting sight. Let's hope this goes well.

Auberon
Auberon kept on walking, finding himself almost running into the same tree over ten times. He finally stopped in front of the old maple and stared defiantly at it. "I know you're moving. Stop mov-" he cut off when he saw a young married couple staring at him, their expressions ones of complete confusion. They shook their heads and muttered something to each other, starting to walk in the opposite direction of Auberon. Auberon whistled, raising his eyebrows and running his hand through his hair.

Kahlen 
Kahlen walked past the park, sighing in exasperation as she mentally scanned the auras of the people there (which she was still getting used to, and the fact that mortals' auras were not as powerful as she was used to), aaand- found him. I wonder what he's up to this morning. Kahlen steered herself in his direction, muttering under her breath in French.

Auberon
Auberon had started carving something in the tree, but stopped when he saw Kahlen. He sighed and stood up (as he was crouching) and turned towards the dark-haired girl, leaning against the tree for moral support. "'Morning."

Kahlen 
Kahlen braced herself for the nickname that came after, but it didn't happen. "Aunt Claire sent you something," she said, handing him a box. "She also told me to whack you with a newspaper, but we're going to forgo that."

Auberon
Auberon took the box, eyeing it suspiciously. "Well that's... comforting," Auberon murmured. "I'm glad someone appriciates all I do for this world."

Kahlen 
"What's wrong now?" Kahlen asked, raising an eyebrow. "Spill."

Auberon
"The last time I was in a school, someone shot my best friend..." he replied, quickly realizing he had said that out loud. "Actually- nothing's wrong."

Kahlen 
"Nice try, but I heard that." Kahlen considered his statement. "This year's going to be better, at least in that area. Trust me. I'm not wrong very often." If anyone tries, I'll be having a chat.

Auberon
Auberon almost fell over, although he had no clue why. He rolled his eyes and cursed at the tree, glaring at it momentarily before looking back at Kahlen. "I feel like that could be debateable?"

Kahlen 
"If that's debatable, then I'm a blonde cheerleader." Kahlen studied Auberon. "Please don't tell me you've been pulling a me again with the no sleep thing."

Auberon
"What? Heck no," Auberon said. "It isn't my fault I threw up..." he added under his breath, looking down at his feet.
