Secretary
"Down the hall and around the corner, second door to the right." More students arrived as she spoke, including Iris and Jackson. "If your name was called on the intercom, go to the office down the hallway and around the corner, second floor on the right."

Kenna
She wove through the little crowd of students who'd gathered here, aware that her bun was coming out but not really caring. She'd expected some things to be a little different from last year, but this was weird. She heard the secretary's instructions; and, hurrying forwards to keep up, stepped on someone's foot. Twisting around awkwardly, she saw that it was a grey-haired girl she'd never seen before. "Sorry!" she exclaimed, pulling out the rubber band keeping her partially deconstructed bun in place and slipping it onto her wrist. "D'you know why we're supposed to come here? This never happened in the years I've been here."

(She's talking to Blaine btw)

Blaine
 Blaine quickly stepped forward to move her foot out of the way once it'd been stepped on, blinking down at the most likely suspect (in other words, the person who'd apologized) with an eyebrow raised. "No, no idea," she replied in response to the girl's question, shrugging apathetically as she returned her gaze to the people in front of her. "Don't really care."

Kenna
Kenna hurried along the hall, disappointed that the girl didn't know, but not really surprised. She counted doors, finally reaching the hopefully-right door and pulling it open. She got ready to race out in case she'd chosen the wrong one-she didn't want to look inside only to see some startled officials in the middle of an important meeting- but seeing nothing to indicate she was in the wrong place, she headed in, trying to look confident.

Mr. March 
Mr. March was seated at his desk, and he waved the group in. Once everyone was inside and the door shut, he said, "I know this is unusual, but we have a very important task for you all. You will be one of the first groups to leave, but your assignment is a little different. You will go and find one of our former students - a girl by the name of Alexandria Grace."

Kenna
Kenna nearly set the chair on fire in surprise. She'd been expecting to hear something ordinary, or at least something less sudden and out-of-the-blue than this. Sure, there had been that bit mentioned in the introduction, but she hadn't assumed it would be this soon. And who was Alexandria Grace? She cleared her throat and asked, "Um, how are we going to do that? Where would we even start looking?"

Jackson 
Mr. March looked at his papers. "We have reason to believe that you'd start with-" "The hawk," Jackson said, cutting him off. "Alex had a hawk. We follow it and we find her." 

Kenna
She nodded, remembering the announcement regarding a hawk earlier. She couldn't help wondering, however, about how Jackson sounded like he knew this person.

Blaine
 "So you're sending us to our deaths, is what you're saying," Blaine concluded, raising an eyebrow in slight challenge. "Something is making me seriously doubt that's legal."

Mr. March paused to gather his words. "Well - in any case, it's approved by the Board, and the country would be hard-pressed to declare saving the people illegal."

Blaine
 "I didn't sign up to be drafted into fighting some weird spooky hawk girl, sir," she replied snidely, brushing her hair out of her face to vaguely accentuate her point. "In any case, I suppose I'm in, mainly because I'm starting to get the feeling that I don't have a choice. Maybe partly because it could be interesting."

"Finding, not fighting, Miss (I'll edit). Unless it comes to it, pray you won't have to. In that case, we won't be able to provide backup." He surveyed the group. "Be at the entrance, packed and ready, in two hours. You may go."

Raphael
Though he hadn't known what this was going to be about, this surely wasn't expected. Raffi twisted his hands in his lap nervously. He hadn't planned on this. He wasn't even good with his element yet, and not very brave. That thought provoked a question, and he felt the need to ask even though they'd been dismissed. "Wait, how did you choose who to send?"

Mr. March
"Our specialists grouped everyone, based on their answers to the questionnaire you answered in your registry packet. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you," he said, getting up to usher them out of his office.

Kenna
Kenna resisted the urge to stamp her foot and refuse to leave until she got some answers to the hundreds of questions whirling through her brain, though she was pretty sure she was literally steaming from the effort. Trying to comprehend the situation they were suddenly in, she lagged behind the others as they left the room, she wasn't even sure where they were headed but hopefully someone did or else they'd end up lost.
