Welcome to Heritage University!

These days, there are two kinds of people- those elementally gifted (water, fire, earth, air) and those who are not.
People with elemental powers from the ages 11 and upward have the option to attend schools to help them further their magic abilities. One such school is Heritage University- one of the most prestigious schools for talented students. You are a student here, training to keep the world safe from a mysterious darkness that is spreading, draining life and color from the world.
Who knows what will happen during your stay?

Students can choose to follow the paths of as many elements as they choose, but naturally everyone has a specialty. Within their special element, they may have a tendency towards certain things, i.e. specialty element is earth, tendency toward growing things or earthquakes, etc.

Nickname(s): Y’all gotta think of something, she has none thus far. 
Age: 18
Description: Tall at 6’4, dark blonde hair to her waist, ice blue eyes. Very tanned from outdoor work, with scars riddling her whole self. 
Usual outfit: dark blue jeans, shirt like this, black cowboy hat, boots, and belt, or camo pants and t shirt with military boots. 
Personality: Loner, extremely sarcastic when she wants to be. Hates caring for anyone but will help people, albeit begrudgingly. 
Element: earth is her main, but can do others.

Personality: Very much a do-it-yourself kind of person- won't wait for someone to do something, she takes the initiative. Materialistic, can be jealous at times. Very particular, it's her way or the highway. Unconsciously flirty, fearless- will jump off a bridge if asked. Ambitious. Compassionate at times, does things on a whim.

Other: lactose intolerant, loves peanut butter anything, allergic to cats, hates the texture of Jello. Also NOT at the University, you'll figure it out later. Has a pet falcon named Karma.

Description: Medium-brown hair with a bright turquoise streak in the front, green/blue eyes, tan, 5' 9.5"

Personality: Chill, go-with-the-flow kind of person. Quick thinker, helpful. (Idk he's a cinnamon roll I think I've explained enough)
Element: Earth. Tendency toward plants and animals.
Other: Knew Alexandria when she was a student at Heritage.

Nickname: Raffi
Age: 16
Description: Tall and lanky, the top of his head reaching 6'5", Raphael often towers above others. Raffi has light brown hair styled into a sidecut (this but with light brown). His eyes are a soft green. Raffi's skin is a light tan shade.
Usual outfit: Ripped black skinny jeans; white t-shirt; olive bomber jacket like this
Personality: Thanks to childhood bullies, Raphael is very quiet. One of his largest fears is rejection and so the often-lonely boy finds it hard to strike up a conversation with potential friends. If you do manage to become his friend, you'll find him to be considerate, overwhelmingly apologetic, relatively smart (I guess), and sensitive. He has a love for plants of all kinds.
Element: Earth, with a tendency in growing things (that's basically all he can do tbh)
Other: It's his first year in the school; underdeveloped skills

Name: Julian Costigan

Age: 16
Description: Julian has your typical long top/short sides haircut, although his hair is a deep red, which compliments his blue eyes. He has fairly pale skin, which heats up (both in temperature and colour) when agitated.
Usual outfit: Usually seen in ripped, baggy jeans and a hoodie. Occasionally a leather or bomber jacket if the outfit permits. 
Personality: A hothead, (pun completely intentional.) Very short temper but a very caring guy, often feels like he'll only drag others down or hurt them, so has a tendency to cut people out of his life as a protection of sorts. Has a flair for the dramatic.
Element: Fire, still undiscovered exactly what he can do but has a normal body temperature of 39.4/5, so hot to the touch. When on an emotional high his skin can be scalding.

Description: Pale blonde hair, (usually dyed some faint pastel colour, currently a soft blue), brown eyes and warm carob skin. Stands at about 5'5
Usual outfit: Evan fluctuates between almost girly, with the occasional skirt or pinafore to wearing just hoodies and sweatpants, good luck guessing how shes feeling today
Personality: Evan is quite bubbly and loud, and really just wants to be everyones friend, shes such a sweetheart honestly. has problems trusting people but!!! pretends she doesnt because that makes people upset

Description: Kenna has light chestnut hair, hazel-y eyes with a permanent determined look, and relatively pale skin. She's slender, and kind of short for her age (but never ever call her that), and her hair reaches about an inch past her shoulders.
Usual outfit: Dark jeans, a weird t-shirt (usually hand-painted), a messy bun, and high tops or sneakers.
Personality: Hard-core determined, optimistic to a fault, and considered strange. She's the kind of person who doesn't have many friends, just allies, and she definitely doesn't put up with anyone who mentions her height.

Name: Jesús Jaime Iago Dominico Zúñiga

Age: 18 - he's still in intermediate classes rather than advanced because of his poor control.

Description: Jesús is from the Sonoran Desert in Mexico. He loves the desert and has a nearly infinite heat tolerance. However, this means that he has almost no tolerance for cold. He's stubborn, though, so unless it will probably actually kill him, he will still wear his normal clothing style no matter what the weather is. He has dark hair and vivid brown eyes. His skin is fairly dark, made even darker from spending time in the hot desert sun.

Usual outfit: Doesn't have one. His style is whatever reveals the most skin he can get away with showing. He loves feeling the breeze.

Personality: A quiet, stubborn kid become a stubborn, quiet man. He’s good at sneaking around and finding out things he isn’t supposed to. He isn’t much of a mischief-maker, though. He just likes secrets—except when he doesn’t know them. His temper is usually mild, but watch out when he does get angry.

Element: Air; can predict storms with nearly 100% accuracy, and shift air currents, causing strong gusts of wind whenever wanted. He has other powers he has yet to discover. However, he's not very good at magic in general. His gusts of wind often blow in the wrong direction, are stronger or weaker than he means to, and he sometimes causes wind without meaning to, even indoors. His emotional state affects his ability to control the wind as well. Because of this, he is a dangerous person to be around when he is angry.

Elfur has blonde hair that reaches his lower back, usually on a low ponytail or messy bun. His eyes are blue and he has a light skincolor. Elfur is 175cm/5’7 tall, and he is pretty slim and not very muscular. His face is shaped like an upside down triangle. He is not very expressive, but a small, soft smile is seen on his lips sometimes. Actually likes doing his hair a lot, and is very good at it. If he is feeling brave, might show up with for example rope braids.

Elfur wears lots of second hand shop-clothes. They look and are pretty worn out and old. Likes his clothes green, black, grey and brown. Doesn’t really go for stuff that has for example flower patterns on them.

His most usual outfit is olive green t-shirt, black skinny jeans and green-grey basketball shoes.

personality

Not very talkative, but is happy to discuss almost anything with anyone if someone wants to. Has a calm voice and seems chill and dreamy most of the time. In reality he is not a dreamer, definitely lives in the moment. Has a diplomatic personality, dislikes conflicts but once you manage to get Elfur angry, you’re going to have hard time.

Earth. He can make plants grow with his touch, is able to move ground and stones with his mind, it requires a lot of concentration though.

Always has an amulet hanging from his neck that he got from his father when he was younger. It has a silver chain and a light green-brown, small stone on it.

His father is from the USA and mother is from Norway. Moved to USA with his family when he was very young, and is bilingual (english and norwegian).
