Ahanu 
He shook his head. "I'll go in with you." I'm not sure if I'd want her alone in there... But I think mainly I just don't want to be out here by myself.

Charity
Charity studied Ahanu for a moment. "We can just leave if that would be better for you..."

Ahanu
He shook his head again. "No, I'm fine. I promise." He gave her a small, reassuring (hopefully) smile. "You want to see your friends, and we came all the way out here. I wouldn't want to just leave. Lead the way, m'lady," he added at the end, gesturing to the door with a mock bow and a slight grin (trying not to blush, of course; the bow ended up being a little odd because he was still holding her hand). 

Charity
Charity giggled and shook her head. "You're cute," she mumbled then walked into the house. Braydon was sitting at a table, messing with some clayish looking stuff. No one else was around, but the noise of metal music was barely audible from a very random room. Charity tilted her head and looked up towards the second floor, just above her head. Agnus was leaning against the railing and playing with a yoyo, studying Charity all the while.

Ahanu 
The comment made him turn a light pink when he realized what she'd said. Ahanu walked next to her, glancing around curiously once inside. Noticing Charity's focus, he glanced up and almost jumped. He hadn't realized someone had been standing there.

Charity
Agnus stopped yoyo-ing when she saw Ahanu. She rested her elbows on the railing and studied him curiously. Charity cleared her throat and let go of Ahanu's hand, going over to the table Braydon was at and grabbing his hammer. She ignored him as he protested, mumbling "be right back" to Ahanu before starting walking up the stairs. Agnus shrieked playfully and charged into a room, slamming the door behind her. Charity rolled her eyes and threw the hammer back towards Braydon. It landed on whatever it was he was making, crushing it. He stared at it for a moment then sighed and picked up the hammer, restarting his work from scratch. Charity winced when she realized what she had done, and turned to Ahanu. "Agnus is a bit of a... flirt? I dunno what she is but she's annoying."

Ahanu 
He grew a little uncomfortable under Agnus' scrutiny, so he was glad when Charity did something. Her method was... interesting, and he kind of wished they were still holding hands. But he was stil glad for it. Ahanu nodded, signifying he understood what she last said. 

Charity
Charity looked over at Braydon. "Sorry," she said. Braydon shrugged dismissively, fiddling with some other clay. "Jordan is in there, obviously. Nook is... upstairs. He's sleeping though," Braydon said, his voice becoming dull with sadness when he mentioned the second boy. Charity chewed the inside of her lip uncomfortably, then took Ahanu's hand again and led him to the kitchen.

Ahanu 
Ahanu let himself be led along. This place was.. unique? He wondered why Braydon's voice had changed upon talking about Nook. Ahanu mentally shrugged it off, figuring he would probably find out.

Charity
Charity let go of Ahanu's hand again, going to the fridge and opening it. She mumbled a few choice words, shutting it and going to a cupboard. She grabbed a pot and filled it up with water, going to a different cupboard and grabbing a few herbs from it.

Ahanu 
"Am I allowed to sit down?" Ahanu asked Charity quietly, glancing at one of the chairs in the room. He wasn't sure what exactly Charity was doing but it looked like it could be a little while.

Charity
Charity nodded silently, concern etching her face, although she didn't let it bother her. Braydon walked into the room, raising his eyebrows slightly. "Jordan's gonna hate you even more... he claims we don't have enough supplies for soup." Charity stopped and stared at him. "You pack of loosers have more stuff in this kitchen than my grandmother and mother combined did." Braydon shrugged and shook his head, glancing at Ahanu before leaning against the wall and studying Charity curiously.

Ahanu 
He sank into the chair. Unsure what to do with his hands, he settled them on his lap.

Charity
Braydon groaned nervously. "Jordan's gonna blame me..." For being normally pretty calm, Braydon seemed abnormally scared about the whole idea. Charity stopped what she was doing again. "Then smack him for being an idiot. He's supposed to be responsible for the kid's life," Charity snapped, though it wasn't really towards Braydon. Braydon nodded in agreement, but still bit his lip with uncertainty.

Ahanu 
"Can I look around?" He found sitting did nothing to solve his mostly confused thinking. This place and its people were odd. He didn't know Charity's ties to them, though he had a guess. He knew nothing of their stories. But mostly he was just a little restless.
