Trust Me RP

Venus
Venus walked up a set of stairs before knocking on the bedroom she had been directed to. She didn't particularly want to do this, and had complained quite mightily about it, but oh well. Venus raised her hand and knocked on the door to Brooklynn's room to inform the girl inside of her presence. She did like the thought of being in charge, and especially liked that she got to assess her. Was she actually planning on joining the gang again? Would she be good enough to be an interrogator? And would she be a good enough manipulator to possibly become another Mark of Venus interrogator? Venus started unlocking the door. 

Brooklynn 
Brooklynn turned toward the door, hearing it unlock. "What are you doing here?" She snapped.

Venus
She flung the door open and confronted an angry-looking Brooke with her own disgusted expression. "I don't like this anymore than you do," Venus replied sharply. "I'm supposed to get you, give you some instructions, and then you're going to interrogate Parker." She smirked. "Test your loyalties, see how you do at the job. That sort of thing. Now come on." Venus beckoned for Brooklynn to exit the room.

Brooklynn 
"Oh joy." Brooke muttered sarcastically, reluctantly leaving.

Venus
Venus led Brooke down through the building to another interrogation room. She unlocked the door and held it for Brooklynn to enter first. Once she had, she closed it again. "This is where you'll be doing the interrogation." Venus walked to a table upon which was set several items. "There is an assortment of... tools at your disposal, some of which are my own personal design." Venus picked up a heart-shaped perfume bottle. "You've seen the effects of this one." She set it gently back down and then turned back to Brooke. "Anyway, the gang wants to see how you'd fair as an interrogator. More specifically, a Mark of Venus one. I'm supposed to give you a couple tips, I guess. Tip number one - manipulation. You have to manipulate the prisoner so you can get what you want. And tip two - assess them. You might need to take one entire session of interrogating to assess the male, but some it becomes obvious very quickly what works best. Since I've already interrogated Parker, I'll be giving you a summary of what I gathered from that session about him." Venus glanced toward the chair. While it would be interesting to see how Brooklynn did, Venus wished she was the one doing the session. "Please remember that I'll be watching and listening. There are hidden microphones all throughout the room that can pick up even the quietest of whispers, and cameras. I also will be physically watching from a hidden location. Are you following so far?" The last question was spoken with a tinge of mocking.

Brooklynn 
"I'd be surprised if you were," Brooke shot back in response to her last comment. "I'll be doing things my way, thank you very much."

Venus
She waved her hand dismissively. "Whatever. I'd suggest you at least do your best, or things could end badly. Anyway, here's what I learned about Parker after my session yesterday." Venus paused, setting her palms behind her on the table and leaning back casually. "Torture methods don't seem too effective, and he appears to be susceptible to charm. But, of course, anyone has a snapping point, and if you fail today I know I will particularly enjoy breaking him. Unless, of course, he decides to cooperate. I wouldn't particularly mind if he joined the gang." Venus grinned, but not the sweet one she threw around when trying to be pretty. It was reminiscent of a wolf baring its fangs. "I came up with a strategy that could work for you." As Venus had continued talking, her voice had changed slightly, holding less of its uppity-tone until she was talking to Brooke almost like an equal (though it was probably because she enjoyed this topic). "First of all, lay on the charm. Heavy, but not too intense. Be sweet. Run your fingers through his hair. Kiss him. That sort of stuff. Next, act like you only joined the gang to help him. Tell him the only way you can do that is if you know what he's hiding from us - don't use 'us,' of course. Play it as you see it with the love stuff. And if you aren't getting anywhere," Venus gestured to the table behind her. 

Outlaw 
“Why do I feel like somethin bad is about to happen..” she wondered out loud to no one in particular. 

Auberon
"Probably because something bad is about to happen?" Auberon guessed. "I mean, it's not like we got unicorns and rainbows down here."

Outlaw 
“I don’t want a rainbow. They’re too cheerful” she grumbled back. 

Auberon
"They're cause by rain, which rain means overcast weather, which normally means depression; how are rainbows happy?" Auberon questioned.

Parker
"The last few times you've had that feeling, you've been right." Parker's eyes glanced toward where Aline had once sat, chained, before swiftly looking away. He blamed himself for that, and the physical reminders hurt more than the stab wounds. "Let's just hope it's not quite as bad as we think." How can anything be even half-decent if we're prisoners to a gang willing to kill and torture? Parker caught Auberon's statement about rain and gave a slight, exasperated sigh. "I don't know why everyone considers rain a bad thing. I love rain. Cloudy days aren't too hot or too cold, just the right temperature. Rain smells amazing. It brings life to the forest and water to the animals. Thunder is impressive, lightning is unique and powerful." Parker had been holding this stance for several years and had had a few friendly debates on the topic whenever someone brought it up.

“They’re colourful and signal the end of rain. Rainbows are the depressing ones, not the rain” she replied 

Brooklynn 
Brooklynn felt sick to her stomach, but she didn't let it show. "Great. Are we done here?"

Auberon
"Well I beat y'all cause life is depressing not the rain or rainbows ha!" Auberon snapped. He hadn't realized he'd been wanting to say something about life for a really long time, and getting that out of his system somehow seemed to help.
