Parker
"Mark of Venus?" Parker looked at his palm, head tilted slightly once more. "Interesting. I guess it makes sense. It looks like a heart, kind of like a V. Huh." He studied it a beat longer and then looked up again. "Venus - Roman goddess of love, etc. What's she have to do with a gang?"

Brooklynn 
"Please tell me you're immune to pretty blondes," Brooklynn said, not bothering to explain just yet. 

Outlaw 
She worked at her chains while listening to their conversation. She held back a cough as she felt blood dripping from her throat. Was this kinda stuff gonna become like a routine? Well she knew one thing. Soon as she was outta here she was leaving this town. The gang wanted her, and now that Parker and Brook knew she was still alive, the police would be hunting for her as well. 

Parker
"What -?" He cut himself off, shaking his head slightly. "I don't know, I've never really thought about it." Not to mention girls don't like me. I'm the weird kid without a - what has this got to do with anything? "So there's a connection here. Pretty blonde and Venus. A gang and a prisoner. I'm sorry, but I'm not quite seeing it. Care to explain?"

Auberon
Auberon had almost started falling asleep after Outlaw and Parker came back, but when he realized he was drifting off he snapped his head back up and looked around curiously. "I missed something no doubt," he mumbled.

Brooklynn 
"We're talking about the most vicious person in existence. No one escapes her clutches. Secrets don't stay kept very long when she's involved. Bad news all around." 

Outlaw 
She didn’t answer the boy, Auberon. She simply kept working at the chains. She finally managed to get one hand loose, which sadly happened to be the one that all except her thumb was broken so it didn’t work to hold her wrench. She mumbled a curse at Sly and all the rest under her breath. 

Auberon
"Oh, fun," Auberon said in reply, still not really understanding.

Parker
Great information. If I actually knew how she connected with the situation here. Parker studied the mark again, intrigued once more and falling into his thoughts as he went over what Brooklynn had said. He finally connected some dots and looked up. "Okay, so she's an interrogator, right? Like those two jerks we just had a nice chat with. It was quite one-sided, by the way, at least in the room I was in. Why is she anymore dangerous than those two? They seemed pretty capable of hurting their 'guests'."

"Bingo!" Auberon whisper-yelled as he got his other hand free. 

Outlaw 
“Keep it down will you” she muttered at Auberon when he half yelled. 

Brooklynn 
"Because," Brooke said slowly. "This isn't your run-of-the-mill interrogator. She's a platinum blonde bombshell with a predatory streak a mile wide. There's next to nothing she won't do to get that information out of you." And she and I are enemies.

Parker
" And what does she do when she can't get the information?" Parker leaned his head back on the wall in an attempt to ease his now killer headache. 

Outlaw 
She managed to fumble a small sheet of paper and a pen out of her pocket and tried to draw out the locks on the door so she could better figure how to pick them, but her fingers weren’t cooperating. She dropped the pen with a quiet huff of irritation. 

Auberon
Auberon glared at Outlaw then froze for a minute. "Oh! Are we talking about the blonde devilish demon person?" Auberon asked Brooke quietly.
