Hi! My name is Colt, and I'm the jockey for Blueberry Meadows. Blueberry Meadows is in the heart of Zephyer Raceway, a minor racetrack. My boss is Mr.Fairy, and he has a temperament short as a gnats's sneeze. I have a  friend who helps me train the horses. Her name is Fawn. (I might not be able to update this often.)

COLT

Me and Fawn were leaning on the fence post, admiring Hickory's foal Oak Creek, sired by Brookdale, a reputable side known for throwing good foals. "He could be a good rachorse, maybe even winning grade races." Fawn said. " How do you know? " I replied. "Just look at those legs! And watch the way he runs! He looks like a champion when he runs, with his head up and forwards." Then Mr.Fairy came up behind us and we jumped. "Meet our new trainer, Outlaw!" Outlaw had a steel look, and there were numerous scars around her face. But what really penetrated me was her ice blue eyes. Fawn didn't look too happy with another trainer. Fawn's eyebrows went down until they were right above her eyes. Uh oh. That was never a good sign.

Outlaw 
I studied the two people rather suspiciously, then turned my gaze to the colt, watching him with an expert eye. He’d be a good one, for sure. And the sire was a known stallion for throwing excellent colts, i’d worked with his foals before and him and they where good stock. I then turned my attention back to whom I presumed where Fawn and Colt. Fawn was not looking happy, not surprisingly, but I could deal with that. Lots of people didn’t like me.

FAWN

 "Calm down, she's just another trainer, if anything there will be less work." Fawn thought to her self. She looked up to see Outlaw looking at Oak Creek . Mr. Fairy 's phone blared a super annoying song. "Well I've got a few phone calls to make. Be good!" He went away talking so loud to the phone, it might as well been on speaker phone. I vaulted over the fence into the pen with Oak Creek and about 25 other foals with their moms. A few of the foals who were playing stopped suddenly and stared at me.  Then one filly named Butter Cookies walked up cautiously then snuffled my hand. Pretty soon I was flocked with foals. Then there was a crunch behind and all the foals spooked and ran away. I turned around to see Colt eating an apple.

Outlaw 
I winced slightly when Mr. Fairy walked off basically yelling into his phone. How one person could be so loud was beyond me. And great, now I was stuck with some people I didn’t know. Just great.

COLT

I was looking at the foals nibbling at Fawn when it hit me. I had to exercise one of our horses, Fairy Dust. I glanced at my watch and realized I was 10 minutes late! I yelled "see you guys later!" and ran to the training barn. When I got there, the groom wasn't exactly happy. I took Fairy Dust 's lead and walked over to the race track,and mounted her. Mr.Fairy wanted Fairy Dust exercised every other day, leading up to this grade race in a month. The race was called Dutch Oven Stakes,a dirt race for 8 furlongs. Galloping Fairy Dust around the track, I realized he wasn't giving it his all, and he was going pretty fast. It was a good pace, so I let him continue. After we hit 8 furlongs, I trotted him to wind down, then dismounted.

Outlaw 
I watched Colt run off, and then wondered when I should start training and exercising. That was what I was here to do, after all, I figured as I gently leaned against the fence. 

I signed up o I'm assuming I can just jump in?


Natalia

Pulling into the drive of the stables I parked, stepping out and collecting my gear. I had served as a jockey and an exercise rider at the stables for a year now, I liked it though the owner seemed to be a bit harsh. I walked over to the stables stopping and placing my gear with all the other tack. I glanced outside noticing a new girl( I'm assuming outlaw is a new person?) She was most likely another trainer the owner had tried to push on his crazed horse, Nano, none had been successful, to me that horse was good as dead if he didn't clean up his act. I walked over to a small paddock were Nano was housed, he proceeded, as usual, pacing and puffing at the gates. No one could lay a hand on him without him striking out, but his bloodlines were good and the owner didn't want to give him up. 

Jay

I paused and walked over to the people gathered at the young foal. I turned my attention to the girl. " Outlaw is it?" I said reaching out my hand to shake hers. " I'm Jay, mainly just muck stalls but if I'm lucky sometimes i can steal a ride from one of the old barn nags," I said with a chuckle extending my hand more. 

FAWN
I looked at Jay, who was introducing himself to Outlaw. Then Mr.Fairy came back from talking on his phone and said, "Outlaw and Fawn , I have a horse for you at the main ring." "And Jay, GET BACK TO WORK!" He walked off, steam coming out of his ears. I gestured for Outlaw to follow me and arrived at the main ring. I groaned when I saw what horse it was. It was Plumberry, Mr.Fairy 's favorite. No wonder, because Plumberry had attitude just like him.

Sawyer
"-And we've paid to share their track and graze the horses for the next couple of weeks until- Here's good!" I throw that last bit over my shoulder with a grin to our driver, Andrew, as he parks the horse truck, continuing with my phone call. "Until the next grade race." I listen to the reply, sighing in relief as I hear that yes, our normal feed company can deliver more feed within the next few days. I hang up, hopping out of the cab and stretching until I hear a little pop from my back, meeting Andree around the back of the truck. "So I'll tie all of the horses up and check them all over, and tack up whoever I need and turn out whoever I don't." I pause as we lower the truck door down. "Do you know when the rest of the syndicate is coming?"

COLT
 
As I walked Fairy Dust into his barn, I saw Fawn and Outlaw trying to get Plumberry into his halter. A little farther, I saw a group of people with a bunch of horses by the racetrack. By the looks of it, they were unloading. I put Fairy Dust into his stall and gave him a treat for doing so well. Then I started for the group of people unloading horses to find out more about them.

Sawyer
""Only six need working today?"" I mock back at Andrew, grinning. Looks like I'm going to be here all day, then. I tie the last two horses to the side of the truck, taking off travelling rugs and boots and giving all of them a quick check over - if anything was to happen to any of them, I would probably lose my job.

FAWN 

I tried to get Plumberry to stand still as I put on his halter. He snorted and trotted away. He seemed more interested in some people unloading their horses and tying them up than his training. I sighed as I tried to put on his halter for the hundredth time. Outlaw was just standing against the fence post. " Can you help me at least put on the halter Outlaw? " Plumberry trotted away. So close!

Outlaw 
I watched calmly all the commotion, then vaulted into the fence and took the halter from Fawn. Once I had the halter slung over my shoulder I calmly walked away from Plumberry, ignoring the horse. He watched curiously, peeking his ears as I started gently humming an old country song. He suddenly dug in, bolting after me, and slid to a stop beside me. I continued humming, holding out the hand holding the halter to him, which he sniffed. I then gently slid the halter over his head and buckled it, patting him and murmuring praises in low German. 

Sawyer
"Hey." I grin at a guy walking over, turning to face him as the mare behind me snorts indignantly. "Where can we put our horses? We have an arrangement with Fairy so we could graze and train here."
