Is this a Glitch, or am I missing something?

Horse I just Bought

It already says it's in Show Jumping, and it is wearing tack!
It is 1 years old.

Is this a glitch, or is there a way to put tack on a young horse? 
Both of its parents were in Western too.

I would say it's a glitch cause when i went into it, the red abr came up saying "you do not own this horse" lol. 

Horses could be tacked before three until foal training was introduced to EV. Now you can't do it; but you still find the occasional foal tacked up.

It might be a pre recode? Not quite sure 

It must've been assigned to show jumping before foal training was implemented and then locked for a while. aglet beat me

That makes sense, because both of it's parents are deceased.
I wish I could take the tack off, but guess I can wait until it is 3 years old!

On occasion I will get a "foal" with a tack set on. It is they were born pre-foal training when people could still select a horses discipline when they were born and tack them up if they wanted to, too.

I also had a horse like that, an Andie with Dressage Tack. I just did the hide tack button and put him into Western when he was old enough, as that’s where I wanted him. 

Like Midnight said, I really hope when he turns 3 I can put him into Western! 

I'm almost certain that you'll have to pay to convert him, but don't quote me on that.

Pretty sure you have to pay to convert them in this case. Sorry I had that guy locked a LONG time xD
