Gelding Stories

I have never accidentally gelded a horse before. I am curious as if anyone has ever gelded a horse on accident, and how did you go along with it? 

I haven't either, though I have found quite a few accidental geldings in the RC before... some with interesting names surrounding the mistake haha.

Once upon a time I had a beautiful horse. It was a cremello thoroughbred with over 1,000 stats. I was casually giving him a checkup at the vet and my computer froze. Being the impatient person I am, I began clicking everything while waiting for it to load. Well one of the things I clicked was geld. And then, ladies and gents, here's the grand finale, I sold him.

i accidentally gelded an AWESOME stallion. short pedigree, great stats, perfect color. 
i was in a rush to do something and rather than reveal his genotype i accidentally gelded him.

i cursed myself all day, then bought a breed-again potion and made him a full sibling. the color wasn’t as good, but it was close! 

i ended up selling off the gelding as a foal for 15k. I sold his younger sibling a week earlier for 150k if that’s any indication of  lost value lol

Thank goodness I’ve never accidentally done that, lol. I don’t feel like blowing most of my money on gelding them, plus I almost always have all my money in the bank so if I accidentally pressed that button it wouldn’t work cause I wouldn’t have money, haha! Poor Kahzie and Lumi though, that sucks!

Yes, yes I have. Twice. 

Once on this version of the game, just clicked the wrong button on accident when trying to reveal the genotype.

Once on the old version. But on that version you could turn geldings into mares, so I "kinda" fixed it.

I've come close to almost gelding 1 of my stallions but thankfully was able to realize that I wanted to check the genotype rather than geld :P

I never have, but I always triple-check to make sure that I don't mess up.

I gelded one of my awesome stallions, he was about 21, I had brought him though, but his color was amazing, his stats were over 1000 and everything, then one day I was going to geld one of my worst stallions, and it came up with the horse that had the best confo first, and it came up with him, and before I realised what I was doing,i had gelded him. Then, he died.

I have. Luckily it was a terrible horse, 110 stats, 50.00 confo, bay Shetland with no markings or patterns. He was going to die the next day, so I didn't really care. I hope I never accidentally geld an actually good horse, that'd be no fun. :(

I have accidently done this but also luckily like Ducky it didn't matter too much as it was only a new Foundation horse I'd just bought.

But it was because I was going to reveal the Geneotype like insomniaglet so yeah ever since then Im super careful about doing that little task now!
