Current Name: 5 New Name: Helima (Arabic for gentle, kind) Backstory/New Story: As a $250 horse from an auction yard, manners (both in the saddle and on the ground) weren't expected - and while they were right about her being completely green, her personality amazed them - what happened to the wild looking, untameable mare in the ring, and who was this gentle, cuddly imposter? The first time she had been backed had been by the couples fourteen year old adoptive son, and while she did freak out a little (like any other horse), she had great ground manners in under a month. She was a little hesitant to start jumping, but with her riders enthusiasm, and her complete trust in him, she attempted, and they soon made their way up to 80cm+ competitions - and while her she wasn't a natural jumper, her constant schooling had made her a very careful and precise jumper, sparing only a few centimeters above each jump, never using any more energy than she needed to, and if that wasn't enough for any judge, her gorgeous colour and the bond between her and her rider was just a little peak of how much work had been put into Helima. All those days of just lying in the paddock with her, and bringing her in just to brush and play around with had payed off!! What draws you to this design?: They're soooooo gorgeous - the colour, the mane and tail length, everything about them is 100% my style
