She laughed. "Yeah. I guess I was 'given' to him," she said, doing air quotes. "He's the creep from the stables." Nothing in her tone or what she said gave away the fact that, in actuality, Jade was terrified of Noah. She had seen his eyes, and what she saw in them sent daggers of fear shooting through her at just the thought. Raw desire had made his brown eyes glint, and anger at her for not loving him turned them to copper.

Eudora
"Well, if you ever want me to burn him up a little I would love to," she motioned to Kahlen. "And Kahlen will be glad to kill him." Eudora smiled.

Jade
"Yeah, she's offered already," Jade said with a laugh, sending water shooting toward a halfwolf.

Outlaw
She watched as the Pegasus took off. "well well well" she said softly. She could wait. And wait she would. "You don't know who your dealing with this time, boy" she muttered. She watched Denver and Auberon talking from her position in the shadows.

Eudora
Eudora help fire in her hand for a second before throwing it at another half wolf. Except this time her and Jade had thrown water and fire at the same time. Much to Eudora's surprise, the water didn't fully exstingish Eudora's flame. A sprak found a dry spot on the halfwolf and cauhht it on fire.

Noah
Once in the air, Noah felt instantly better. He hadn't gone on a pegasus since this whole thing started. He rubbed the mare's neck. "Making progress?" Oh, yes, he said with a smile, Jade will fall for me. It may take a little time, but it will happen. "I saw how you edited the cold you put on her. Very good job, Noah." Noah grinned with pride. Thanks. I thought it would be a good idea. He circled the camp two times before landing the pegasus. He smiled at Jaxson and put the mare away himself, feeding her a carrot from his pocket.

Jade
She laughed again. It felt good, but it didn't warm her any. "I think we should just work together. Look." The halfwolf was blazing from the middle of its back to its tail, but soaked in the front. Confused and disoriented by the feeling of being both wet and cold and burning hot, it spun in a circle.

She watched Noah return from her sitting position in the shadows. She shook her head at his attitude with the younger boy.

Eudora
Eudora couldn't help but laugh. "Maybe it would work out better that way! If I was on fire like that..." she trailed off still laughing.

Auberon
Auberon glanced over his shoulder and saw a girl standing not too far away from him and Denver. Wonder who she is? She must be new.

Outlaw
She noted a boy she remembered someone calling Auberon glance her way. She wondered distractedly who

Jade was, in fact, not quite 'fine,' though she tried her best to appear so. She looked up at the darkening sky and noted the stars. It made her think of Alex, and she smiled slightly. Hey, Star. Where are you? The few faint stars streamed down from the sky, forming into a horse that walked over to Jade and gave her an affectionate nudge. Star froze, staring at her. "You're freezing." Jade rubbed his nose. Yeah, I know. Sorry. She saw Tod watching from by her tent, where he had set up shop. Jade shivered, petting the celestial equine. I just wanted to say hi. Don't really need you. Star huffed. "That's okay." Jade walked over to her tent, seeing as most of the halfwolves were gone, and extracted her throw blanket. She trudged over to the fire and sat down, pulling the blanket around her shoulders, and wishing she could feel warm.

She looked up and took the blanket with a smile. "Thanks. I don't think it will help any, but I appreciate it. Might as well try." She settled it over her own blanket and pulled them both tighter over her shoulders. She glanced at Eudora. "Are you okay?"
