Columbina
"The beach, where we were before. If not there then..." She sighed, resigning herself to the possibility that Beau might not have just forgotten the time. "I guess I'll have to go get Chiron."

Ethel
Despite her mind's protests, she said what she had been thinking about even since they'd started searching for the kid. "I have a feeling that there's more to this than he just lost track of the time. I mean, we're demigods. There's always more to it than that, is there not?"

Columbina
Ollie slumped in defeat, both at Ethel's words and the fact that they had reached a cold beach lacking in six foot brunettes. "You're right." She mumbled, pulling the jacket tighter around her as she straightened a little, eyes glinting with nothing less than determination. No time for grieving yet. "Let's go find Chiron, then."

Outlaw
Her song switched to “Scarecrow in the Garden” and she quietly song along with her guitar.

Ethel
She glanced down at Ollie, surprised and a bit enamored when she noticed the determined authority in the short girl's eyes. "Um, a-alright. Lead the way, captain."

Columbina
She giggled despite the situation, turning to Ethel with a raised brow. "I'll race you back?"

Ethel
Ethel huffed. "Absolutely not. There's no need to run. I'm not running."

Columbina
"Your loss!" She grinned over her shoulder, already picking up a steady pace towards the trees.

Ethel
"My win," she corrected, following Ollie from a distance.

Auberon
He followed Kahlen, glancing around the clearing curiously.

Lilly
She shifted slightly in her sleep, tugging the blanket toward her face as she moved. A nightmare raged in her dreams but outwardly Lilly looked to be peacefully asleep, curled in a ball and facing the tent wall.

Noah
He looked up from the book he had carried up from the library, running a hand through his hair and sighing. "This is more complicated than I thought," he muttered, scanning the page again. It was doable, though, and Noah was willing. It would be a lot of work. But then again, what else did he have to do here?

Beau
Beau yawned and gently nudged Rhyme off his lap. He gave her an appeasing pat and then slid the pillow away from the wall. He laid down and Rhyme cuddled against him. Beau rubbed her head, pushing back the overwhelming feelings that vied for his attention. Before long he had fallen asleep.

Freddie
At some point Freddie had realized she was utterly exhausted. Which didn't make sense, because she had been out cold for who knew how long. She was a bit wary of falling asleep, afraid she wouldn't wake up for days or weeks or, Olympus forbid, years on end. But eventually the weariness won out and Freddie carefully arranged herself on the cot, feeling for the edges to know where not to go. She groped for the thin blanket before she found it and pulled it over her. Freddie's unseeing eyes were covered as they closed, and she mumbled a "good night" to Jimmy before she fell asleep.

Kahlen
Nice and quiet. "Ah. Much better."

Jimmy
"G'night, Fred," Jimmy replied quietly, taking the letters out of his pocket once she'd fallen asleep. He read through Noah's again before skimming through the one that he'd written in response hours ago. Outdated. Freddie's not dead... yet. Since he didn't have another piece of paper, he just crossed out what he'd already written and wrote a new response under it.
'False alarm. Freddie's fine. Everyone thought she was dead. Then she wasn't.
It'd be awesome if you came back, though try not to kill yourself trying to. Can a ghost die?
- Jimmy'
He got up, careful to not wake his sister, and exited the tent, heading towards the dying campfire in the distance. After about ten minutes, he reached it, dropping the letter into what was left of the flames. He watched it burn until it was nothing but a small pile of ashes, then turned around and headed back to the medical tent.

Columbina
As she scampered ahead, Ollie remained surprised that her foot was seemingly stable enough to let her run, even after this morning. "Remind me to thank Denver again." She mumbled, to noone in particular.

Denver
Denver lay awake on his cot, conjugating irregular French verbs and mentally picturing food labels, checking for the amounts of sugar and protein in things like goldfish crackers and lemons. What else was an insomniac supposed to do when banned from constant reorganization in the early hours of the morning?

Lilly
Her nightmare woke her, and she opened her eyes slowly. Oh, right, I'm still in the infirmary. Lilly rolled over to her other side and glanced toward Denver's cot. "Are you still awake?" she whispered, voice thick with sleep and a bit surprised.
